By far one of the best breakfast lunch places in Lakes Region. It's out of business now. 😩

Ok, I guess I'm one of the few people who are not super impressed with this place. I understand they have changed things recently, and perhaps some of my complaints are because of those changes.

The food was OK. I ordered a 5 cheese omelette with bacon. It was well cooked, but the omelette itself (the egg) I felt was really thin and sort of meh.

The "home fries" were kind of soggy slices of potato, a complete turn off.

The bread was delicious. Honestly the best thing on the plate.

Girlfriend had their French Toast which is so special it takes 20 minutes to make (stated on the menu). She thought it was good, but not 20 minutes good.

The logistics take away a star. You walk in to a small area between the door and the cash register. To the right, on the wall, is a huge menu. It's the only menu, there are none at the table

So you have to stand there deciding what you want while other people come in behind you, and still other guests try to get coffee (self serve, set up right next to the menu in the same small space).

Then you wait at the register to order, while other people are trying to exit and pay at the same single register. And more people are coming in behind you.

When the place got busy, there were 10--12 people milling around in the menu/order/coffee/pay area waiting for seats.

Seating is very limited, and mostly on a few 4- and 8-top tables, so expect to sit with a stranger (I'm fine with that, girlfriend was less thrilled).

Bottom line: decent but uninspired breakfast food, fair prices, horrible logistics. Put menus at the tables and take orders, leave the register for paying on the way out.
