Cute renovation of a former industrial park into artsy shops and artists' studios, thrift stores, a darling cafe (Black Dog) and cool barber shop (Chop). Local craft brewery Proof Brewing Company is also located here - check out their beer garden. 🍻
The brightly-colored buildings and interesting art installations make Railroad Square a frequent destination for photographers and subjects looking for a fun setting with unique backgrounds.
The first Friday of every month (6-9 pm) is a community event! The shops stay open late, drummers get in their circle, food trucks arrive, and everyone wanders, watching demonstrations, live entertainment and their neighbors! Parking can be tough for this event, so plan accordingly.

Really neat location with a lot of eclectic shops. Plan to spend a few hours there so you will have ample time to check out all the local businesses.

Great local college place. Colorful and friendly people, a great coffee shop, neat thrift store, and many other cool small shops in vibrant and colorful buildings.

Awesome array of shops, art, vintage clothing, food, barbershop and beer! There is a lot to check out here and the area is really cool. So glad we happened upon this place.

It is a nice quaint shopping village in an old rail road warehouse district, a couple places to eat or get coffee, rock climbing gym, artsy places. Very nice are to spend a few hours.

Love this area! First friday was my first experience here. It was very cool and laid back atmosphere! All the independent and family owned shops contribute to this affair. Live music art showing and over all inviting atmosphere make this a nice area for a night out or find some Zen!

There's a fun playground for kids on the outskirts of Railroad Square Art Park. The grass is fake, but the climbing equipment is stellar.

With the spray pad within walking distance, this park is great for hot afternoons. The only problem would be equipment that gets too warm to touch.

Come out on the first Friday of every month to get the real Railroad Square experience, one of the few places left that fosters creativity in the city, don't let them bulldoze this for parking spaces. A ton of people have a lot of memories here, it's the true "heart" of Tallahassee.

Cultural hub in Tallahassee. They regularly hold events on the first Friday and second Saturday of every month. It's full of various art studios and eclectic shops. You can pick up loose leaf teas in Athena's Garden and odd and end items at the Savy Salvage for cheap. Also, great vintage clothing in many of the shops.

Excellent family oriented place to shop and hang out. Very friendly and courteous people. Excellent food with live music and great beer. There is a brewery inside this location called "Proof". Every first Friday of the month from 6:00pm-10:00pm is the best time to come and bring your family or friends to enjoy more live music, food and shop for various items to include art and fancy antiques at reasonable prices.
