I have given this places so many chances, and yet I just can't rally around it. When it was located closer to Notre Dame, they had a sign on the door telling you how much you should spend vs. how long you should stay. I was really put off by a sign telling me what not to do in a business before I even entered, but I went in. I asked what kind of coffee they had. They had "coffee." No flavors or anything, which disappointed me. I was later told by the business that they focus on a really flavorful cup of coffee, not different kinds of coffee. Okay.
They moved to Ironwood, and things seemed better there, but they have signs up all over telling people what to do and not do. I feel like I'm inconveniencing them by going to their business. There is an older man there (the owner?) who stares at everyone from behind the counter, like he's a school teacher and wants to make sure everyone is "in line." Again, this time on the bathroom door, is a sign about how much to spend vs. how long you stay and another one telling people not to bring their own food in. If this is such a problem, as you are located near a campus, do what other businesses do: walk around. Talk to people. Pick up their dishes for them and say hello. Ask if they want a refill. If people say no, now they know that you know that they're just hanging around, which will make them feel more comfortable, and thus leave. Being active in your business is much smarter and friendlier than letting signs all over the place do your work.response / report this review -

Great food, coffee, and service! Sadly, the only independent cafe near Notre Dame - which is very weird compared to other college towns. And now they moved..why??!! Free WiF!

Best cup of coffee I've had in a long long time, Starbucks has nothing on Quincys you won't be sorry so try them out. Wife is crazy about them too and were a couple of coffee junkies! Try the toffee nut white mocha its crazy!
