Quincy Public Library’s mission is to provide its patrons with materials, facilities, and programs to meet lifelong learning, cultural, and recreational needs.

Quincy Public Library provides unrestricted access to information in many formats and from many sources.

In addition to the library building at 526 Jersey Street, library materials are available at the QPL Kiosk at County Market at 48th Street, via delivery for homebound patrons, or through one of QPL's many digital options.

Residents of the city of Quincy, and the townships of Melrose, Riverside, Ellington, and part of Gilmer are eligible to receive a QPL library card at no additional cost to the user.
