I've always had wonderful experience at both Irvine locations. I prefer the 4050 location because I am known by the staff, and always get first class treatment.

11/4 get to the lab before they open 8am, patiently wait and wait, finally went up to check, only been told that he called us numbers time, no one answered, and we are in the the room the whole time, turn out he pronounce both first and last name wrong the whole time, and our first and last name isn't difficult at all, that is why Abe is so confident to say without spell out, like they do with some difficult last name, I was sitting inside the lobby the entire time, there are few people outside the hallway, look back I noticed definitely less engage with people waiting than other staff calling patient. if Abe only can be more helpful after I approached him, but instead he insist he has been calling us, didn't mention he calling the wrong name, that i have to check in again and wait, when I ask can we move to front since we have been wait for almost two hours, there is only one word from him"No". I don't think we are the only one lost in the shuffle, so many names not answered just the three hours we were there, My mistake was too trust other people will do best at their job, apparently not yesterday with Abe. I hope the management can take a look seriously with the training the staff needed.

Visited this center for the blood draw yesterday. They seem to have turned the place around. Quick service, professional staff.

The information online shows that they open at 7:30AM. However they don't open until 8 and there is now a line of 15 people down the hall. Come on Quest...If you are going to change your hours, perhaps you should change the information online.

It seems as though the low rating and numerous comments about poor customer service have been well earned.

Thankfully, there are many labs who are in network with my insurance. I will take ALL my future business to another lab. If I could have given negative stars, I would have.

Wow! I went on a Saturday about 1030am as i was finished in less than a hour. The phlebotomist who took my blood was funny and had me laughing the whole time. I can't remember her name but she had short sorta purpleish hair. I also let her know right away that I'm a fainter and she took me to a room with a table to accommodate me. Great experience.

Never coming back then this location again. They have messed up my test for the nth time. Unprofessional staff and longer than normal wait times. Go to the 4950 branch location instead of this place, unless you want to waste your time and be frustrated!

Yes it was her first time people. Good job! My experience there was great customer service. Right on! Now let me get this straight tho clients come in w anger issues. Get right w yourself and be patient while you wait.

Came as walk in at 10. Took two hours. The passed by my name and then claimed they called me. It's not too hard to pronounce "Joe" but the rude person who calls out the names couldn't even pronounce Joe when asked. So of course she could only frown at me for having such a difficult name to pronounce -- "Joe" During the week this place is OK but honestly, folks, we gotta quit putting up with this from Quest.

The employees need a good lesson in decent customer service. Then they should revisit that lesson a few more times after that.... Too bad the company won't do anything about it. First review, EVER!!

I never wait more than 20 minutes. What's the big deal? good time to catch up on email, and clean out duplicate pictures. Patricia is the Best!!!

HORRIBLE experience at this Quest Diagnostics. My phlebotomist, Patricia, was angry, rushing and very volatile. I have worked in doctor's offices for 6 years, and I know the pressure is high and patients get rowdy but I have never seen a medical professional behave the way Patricia did. I went in, gave my forms to the front office staff (who also happen to be other Phlebotomists) and everything was taken care of. I waited for 25 minutes until I was called up by the phlebotomist for my physicians phone number so they could get authorization for a Cortisol Baseline test. I gave the phone number to that phlebotomist and went back to sit down. Another phlebotomist ran back in from her lunch break and called me up -- this phlebotomist was Patricia. She told me to sit down and began asking me what labs I needed done, all while she was holding lab forms in her hand. At that point it was evident she had no patience and before I could even register what she was asking me, she began berating me regarding how the Cortisol Baseline test needed to be authorized if I were to take it after 9 am. I am not a doctor, and I am not a phlebotomist. I can't give authorization and I was given 0 directions in regards to my lab tests, so I told her that the other phlebotomist was going to call my doctor for the authorization. Patricia became visibly annoyed and told me to call my physicians office for her immediately and get the information. I called my physician's office for her all while she asked treated me as if I were a child. The staff had taken a copy of my insurance form and without even looking for it, Patricia huffed and puffed about how I was on MediCal - which I am not, I am Blue Cross PPO - and told me to stay on the phone but to get my insurance card out. By the time I pulled it out, she had found the sheet that the Quest staff had made a copy of my insurance on and yelled at me to "forget looking for your card, I found it, just stay on the phone! Get the contact name!" That was the second time in that 10 minute exchange that I felt so uncomfortable I wanted to get my lab sheets back and leave. I was already on the phone with my physician's office, though, so when I got a hold of my physician and asked the question that Patricia wanted me to ask, Patricia literally snatched my cellphone from my hand in order to yell at my doctor about how busy she was -- and I quote, "Oh my LORD I need a yes or a no answer, I don't have all day! We are very busy...oh GOD you're just not getting it are you?!" and hung up on my doctor. Shaken, confused and quite frankly, a little scared, I promptly requested my lab forms back and told her I was extremely uncomfortable getting my blood drawn by her after the way she was yelling at me and then yelling at my doctor and his staff. I left so shocked that one of the other staff members in the hall came over and apologized for Patricia's behavior. I'm still in disbelief. If you go here, DON'T go to Patricia.

One of my blood test was skipped.
I had done several blood test in this center few days back.Among them one imp. blood test was not performed. On asking them the reason for it ,i received kiddish answers which are not at all acceptable.
I have sent detailed e mail to them regarding this and still waiting for the reply.

Further once the lady that draws the blood(the lady in both the incidences was same) drew 2 tubes extra blood and then simply said sorry about it.Can u imagine two whole tubes of extra blood!!!!!!

Words are few to write about this lab.........really........
I truly hope none of you ever have to experience such a thing.

The front desk people are usually pretty great, but the wait time if you don't have an appointment is usually not so good! If you don't know when you have time to go in and want to make an appointment the week before, good luck! You have to schedule weeks out to get a good time (A good time being 7:30 before most people have to go to work. Walking in normally takes about 45 minutes unless you get there right at 7:30 and you will usually get helped after 20-30 minutes, at least in my experience.

Having to call their number to try to talk to someone is absolutely impossible! I was trying to schedule an appointment and it makes you say the day you want, I spent 10 minutes just saying the day that I wanted for my appointment and it would either get the day wrong or when I would confirm for the right day, it would say "Sorry, please tell me the day you would like". Finally I was able to get the day I wanted and when I said yes to confirm the time and everything was correct, it said "Sorry, please tell me which is wrong: the location, day, or time." I tired to say "None!" but that wasn't a response and it sent me back to saying the date again. After a couple more attempts I finally gave up. (Oh, and I don't have an accent or anything, I spoke clearly and enunciated and it was useless.) I almost wonder if they have that helpline to record people getting angry. I am normally pretty calm but it made me want to throw my phone across the room.
