Beautiful community: inside & out! So pretty! Management is professional, and super helpful. Appreciate all they do!
We have had such a wonderful experience living here. The office staff has been so helpful and friendly since the day we inquired about living here. They community is great. It's clean quiet. We have nothing really negative to say
I know you want to stay here because it's close to the Air Force base. I get it. That was me three months ago. At $1255 per month, it's already a very steep price. I was very clean--and yet, I was charged $475 on top of my deposit for cleaning fees. For example, they painted the entire apartment (I sincerely never even touched those walls) and it cost me $200. There really isn't a way for me to fight the charges, and they're making cash hand over fist by taking advantage of our military service members. Their management is very friendly when you first sign the paperwork, but once you're moved in, they're the ones who call the shots, and I lost a lot of money unnecessarily because they just wanted to run me through. I got out as fast as I could. I recommend you do not consider Quail Cove. Oh, and look at the 4 star rating by Donna Siverston--She works there!! It's a very dishonest group of people.
Avoid this complex like the flu. They are nice when you move in, but that will change after you move in. Staff is rude, repairs not done. If you do move in, take pictures of everything in the apartment and keep a copy of all the repairs that needs repaired. When you move out take photos of everything, because they will make false repair to make you pay for them. PLEASE if at all possible don’t rent from them. When you move out you better have a healthy checking account.
Worst place I have EVER lived. The actual apartment was nice but all the appliances would break down a lot like the fridge, toilet, closets. The toilet whistles a lot then they lied to us saying that all toilets do that?!?! Also have lost our check 3 times and and all three times they made us pay the late fee because they "couldn't find our receipt copy in their book" and couldn't see us in the video camera. They had us paying someone else power for 6 months THEN quail cove wanted us to pay them a fee for it. They have lied to us consistently about little things like when they don't show up for their scheduled walk throughs. They have lied to my face and when I called them on it they just stood there in silence and didn't know how to react. I really can't stress this enough. DO NOT MOVE HERE.
Do not think of moving and staying at this stupid apartment. Theres hidden fee every month adding to your rent and theyll come up with any excuse to get money from you. We put 2 boxes outside our bargany and they charge us $40. So i ask all my next door apartment if they got charge too and they said yes. What a low life management..they charge us for putting staff outside oue bargany but they dont clean the laundry room and the gym by the officeThere staff are so lazy as hell and the manager too..
The management is incredibly terrible. They charge for everything, even when it should be on them. They are unapproachable and rude. They don't let you use the club house and are constantly making up fees and rules that aren't written anywhere in the lease or anywhere else. If you are switching roommates when your lease is up for renewal be ready for all sorts of fees that were not in their agreement. Everyone in my apartment had to repay an application fee when only one of us was moving in. It might seem like an in expensive place to live but they will stack up the hidden fees until you would have been better off to rent a more expensive place.
Didn't end up moving here because of bad experience initially when previewing the place. Online ads said no move in costs, no "admin" fees, etc. but then they said we needed to pay the $200 admin fee, the $80 application fee (for two of us), and $150 deposit. I think that is deceptive advertising. They didn't seem to care that I would be paying the whole year's rent up-front. Anyway, if they are this way before moving in, how much worse after moving in. no thanks. We will find another place to live.
This place loves to rob its residents of their money you miss rent by a day you pay 300$ extra in fees, they don't fix the problems in your apartment. Our door had screws that would get caught when the door closed and we got locked in our own apartment because of it, their reply "these doors are so old and there is nothing we can do about it." STAY AWAY!!! This is not a good place to live
This is honestly the worst place we have ever lived. First off they pull the old bait and switch. They show you a band new remodeled apartment, then when you get the keys you walk into an old run down apartment that hasn't been remodeled since the seventies. This place is an ant infested slum. There is spots in the floors where the wood floor has rotted away and the only thing that keeps you from falling through is the laminate or carpet covering the hole. We submitted several work orders for the safety hazards, but they never once came out to fix anything. The office staff are rude and extremely unintelligent. And they look for any way possible to squeeze every penny out of you. When we moved out they tried to send us a bill for $620 for repairs (that won't actually be performed) despite owing us our $700 deposit. If your looking into living here, I suggest you stay away. This place is terrible.
I didn't want to give any star. We came to this place because they were close to the military base and we had little time to find a home to live in. Thought it was nice at first but looks are deceiving. They have poorly put together apartments, they say it is redone but it doesn't show. Their customer service is awful, along with their maintenance. The grounds keeping is poor. They have NO respect for military members, whats-so-ever. I would NEVER recommend these apartments. They are WAY to expensive for what you get. Look harder for other homes or apartments so you aren't stuck here for a year.
Some things that have happened, just so you all don't think we are just over exaggerating
We have had to call maintenance every month (not kidding), took at least a month for them to finally fix our AC, our toilet was broken the day we moved in, the floors were not cleaned when we moved in, the fridge doesn't always stay cool, and the walls are so thin it can barely keep a small shelf up. That is certainly not the end of the list but it is enough for me to turn my head.
Not to mention all of the ridiculous fees that are being added every day if you slip up doing something wrong. You just some cheaply decorated piece of paper on your door saying "by the way if you don't follows these new rule, you'll be fined." No way in hell they will get me to pay any of those fees if I do any of those newly established rules, due to the fact that not a single one of those rules is in my contract, and NO piece of paper printed from Microsoft office is going to make me pay for some ridiculous fee. An example of one being a $200 fee if your dog is seen not on it's leash or if it is barking too much. This place and their fees disgusts me.
I have lived in many apartments in my life and NEVER have I lived in one this awful. For my husband, my dog, and I, we pay 927$ for a small one bedroom apartment. We had gotten a washer and dryer put in so it was an extra 40$ a month, BUT there were so many issues that when we told management they took the 40$ off our rent. Not even close to making satisfaction because the issues never stopped. Once the lease is up we are gone.
There is a man named William Olney who is trying to rent out at the Quail Cove apartments. He lives with me until the end of the month, supposedly. My mother died last month, I am between jobs, a single full custody mother who does not get child support. William told me that he wanted to have a relationship with me and was working on it with me. He blindsided me, when I emotionally needed him most. He owes money to me for bills. I found out that he was trying to get into these apartments. He owes the IRS, money4u, just started a job a few months ago. I took care of his daughter for 3 years all the time. Spent money that I didn't have. His ex fiance also said that he took her tax return. He is leaving me without 30 days written notice to the landlord or informing me whatsoever. When I talked to the management at Quail Cove, they were very short with me and told me not to contact them. They are not empathetic and they are willing to take people whose credit is not good. He has prior eviction notices, and he also is late on his $500 car payment. The list goes on and on. He saved money by not paying bills that he owed. And now he is going to leave me in a very financially desperate situation, for no apparent reason whatsoever. The only reason he gave me was: "You're not trying to make me happy anymore." I didn't know I needed to make him happy or he'd go behind my back and try and leave. His debts are very high. I think this is bad of a rental company to do ethically and financially to themselves. But they are willing to do that. So. something to think about.
We have lived here two months now and really have enjoyed it. We have an updated unit. Whenever we have needed anything the management and maintenance has been extremely nice, helpful, and fast. The grounds are pretty and well maintained.
My husband and I moved here almost a year ago and we have really enjoyed these apartments! The maintenance team resolves requests quickly and the leasing office staff are very helpful. I really appreciate how they take care of the look of the complex (snow removal, mowing, watering the grass, trash pick up, vacuuming the breezeways in the building, etc.). The price is very reasonable and it's a short commute to SLC. We even have access to the UTA system with the bus stop across the street. One thing I wish was better enforced was smoking in/around the apartments. We have quite a few neighbors who smoke and the rule is to be farther from the building than their porch
Overall we have really enjoyed living here and love that we can have our dogs here for a reasonable fee. One more great thing is the location! You can walk to a lot of places nearby and there are sidewalks everywhere. I highly recommend this apartment complex. We are staying another year!
