In the past I have truly loved my food here. However, it's best when it's a "messy" burger, and occasionally it's very basic and neat. The last couple times I went, it tasted ok, but was disappointing compared to past experiences

I love this place! There's only street parking so be prepared. They're open until 10 which is great. The burger patties fill the bun, the toppings are fresh, and you'll get the same great food if you done in it order out. Their basic menu doesn't change but they always have a special burger that changes each month. They have a veggie burger, grilled chicken, turkey burgers, and beef.

Their burgers are ssssoooo good!! So full of flavor and everything tastes fresh. The Sweet chili sauce makes for a messy sandwich, but is totally worth it. My only complaint is I often call ahead and am told 5 minutes. I show up 10 minutes later and usually end up waiting another 10 minutes. However, the staff is very helpful and friendly and the meal is well worth the wait!!

I really enjoyed the Good Morning Burger! It was a lot like the Royal Red Robin Burger, but much better! The waffle fries were perfect, and the service was wonderful. I requested crispy bacon and it was cooked perfectly. I'll definitely be having lunch here again :)

I had the most wonderful Texas burger on Texas toast! The toast never got soggy from the BBQ sauce or hamburger grease which was a huge plus and the burger was cooked perfectly. The sweet potato tots were deliciously amazing. I can't believe I've never had these before!! The workers were nice and accommodating to me with my 9 month old son. So friendly!

Solid lunch choice in downtown Indy. The burgers are average but topping choices are excellent. The burnt cheese is both tasty and novel. Waffle fries are outstanding. Very quick service for a reasonable price.

Great spot for a quick lunch! Burgers, fries and shakes (plus new chicken sandwiches). Got in at 11:45am and beat the rush. Service was fast and friendly. I was able to find a seat quickly and wait for my number to arrive. By the end of my meal (12:10) the place was PACKED but food still flowed out and tables turned over quickly.

Loved the fact that my shake came out when ready, NOT waiting on the burger too. Got the Burnt Cheese: a nice crispy burger, homemade pickles, onion, tomato, lettuce, special sauce; then 3 pieces of cheddar cheese BURNT. The sweet potato tater tots were off the hook. Try the Nutella Shake, much better than just a Chocolate Shake.

Give the Burger of the week a look, lots of great option over the course of the year PLUS you can always build your own with tons of options on the chalkboard!

This is a great, family friendly, low cost burger option. The strength of Punch burger is the ability to custom make the burger you want. You can finish your meal off with sweet potato tots and a beer. It's worth trying if you are from out of town.

I've been back and forth with Punch Burger on Ohio. They were REALLY good a couple years ago, and they kinda fell off. They made it onto my "Never Again" list, but with a recent dietary change, they made their way back into my life. The first of those experiences didn't meet the early days of my tenure in Indy, but it wasn't terrible. The second didn't meet that level, but the third put them back on the "Never Again" list. Despite requesting "a little pink" for my Good Morning Burger, it was well done. Despite requesting a second "Over Easy" egg for the Good Morning Burger, it was missing and the lone egg was over medium at best. Did I mention that they left off the bacon and I had to send it back? This was after it took an eternity to receive my food, despite being about 7 orders from the front of the line when I sat down.

    Never again.

Underwhelming experience. My friend and I decided to go here for lunch one afternoon after seeing the line stretch outside the door numerous times. She said she had been there a few times before, but this was my first time visiting the restaurant. I got the Texan, and while the description did say that it had grilled onions on it, they didn't say that that's all that would be on the burger. There were a million onions on it. I could barely taste anything else. The condiments and cheese were almost non-existent. The burger was cooked well, but flavorless. The best part of the burger was the bun. The waffle fries taste like the ones I buy from WalMart. I only gave 2 stars because the customer service was pretty good. I won't be going back.

I'm so glad that I got to visit this place a few days ago when I was passing through town! At lunch time on a Tuesday I managed to find a meter just on the next block.

Upon entering I discovered that you place your order at the counter and they call your number when it comes out. There were only a few people in front of me, so the pressure was on to figure out what I needed to try. Luckily the guy at the counter was super helpful. In the end I went for a Burnt Cheeseburger with a Duck Patty and added bacon and a side of half Sweet Tots half Waffle Fries.

Burger - Going with the Duck Patty was a solid choice! It definitely had that rich, buttery flavor that duck should. And I thought the burnt cheese was unique and had a deliciously sharp flavor. The bacon was thick cut and the pickles were obviously house made and fresh. Honestly, I'd probably just get this burger again on my next visit!

Tots and Fries - The tots had a mild sweetness, but you really do need a dipping sauce for them. The waffle fries had the perfect crunch and would be great on their own, but I loved dipping them in ranch.

I also appreciated that this place doesn't up-charge you for everything. No extra charge for the fancy patty and no extra charge for any sauces. This place is great!!
