I was pretty impressed by this little hike
Had never been there the trails were pretty well marked nice little hike
Very nice area to take an easy, scenic hike. Trails can sometimes be a little confusingly marked but shouldn't be too much of a problem. Really cool rock site on one trail and the remnants of old farm acreage on another.
Great place for a hike. Nice views with well marked trails.
Fun place for a quick hike. Trails are well maintained, fellow hikers are friendly.
Love this place we go there 3 times a year summer is the best, fall in pretty too, winter is a challenge. It has a bunch of trails from easy to hard. Although the difficult ones really are not that bad. The view of the water is beautiful. 2 perfect spot for taking pictures and viewing. Dog friendly although you do have to watch people tend to let there dogs run free. (Problem if your afraid dogs or have a dog agressive dog) The hike is beautiful and worth it. As long as you pay attention to the color trail your on your fine. Getting lost can happen but not hard to find your way out. I recommend this place for beginners and experienced.
This is a well-maintained trail and true to the distance marked on the maps. We took the 0.6 Kennard trail (white markers) from the parking area to Pulpit Rock. It was a bit rocky and with a lot of exposed roots, so probably not good for young children or others with physical limitations (my husband is 5 weeks post total hip replacement and found it very challenging, but doable). The rock itself is interesting, but don't get too close to the edge (again, probably not good for curious kids). This is also not a true waterfall, more of a trickle through the rocks, even after heavy recent rainfall. Still worth a look, though!
Peaceful nature spot for outdoor recreation. An awesome find in Bedford.
I love this place! Amazing place, wonderful energy and just fantastic
Awesome trail system. Dog and bike friendly. Can get a bit muddy in wet seasons though.
One of our new favorite hikes. It is moderate but the hike has a nice amount of variation, and some scrambles. It is fairly well marked but you have to look or you could miss them.
The directions Google give you to get here are horrible! Eventually you are going to end up in a neighborhood. We were almost ready give up and drive off when we decided to drive a bit more down the street and there, tucked away in a little entrance you can spot a small parking lot and that's the entrance of the hiking trail. It was a beautiful walk and there were other families. At some point the trail divides in three trails, some more challenging than others but each trail is easy to follow. Excellent walk and will do it again
