  Where does my pre-need money go? Monthly Pre-planned or Pre-funded funeral payments are deposited into the accounts of an insurance company or trust account. When death occurs, the mortuary files a claim on the policy to receive payment. It is illegal for a mortuary to deposit your money directly into its own business accounts. This is how the law protects your money.

  It's not an enjoyable Christmas for everyone, try to honor your loved one by lighting a candle or setting up a small memorial in your home. Do this every year, one day you will look back at the time that's passed and be glad that you can remember what you did for Christmas.

  Traditional burials usually include viewing the deceased, but you may opt to skip viewing and only meet at the cemetery for the committal service; this is called a "graveside service."

  Military Veterans who earn an honorable discharge are eligible for interment at a national cemetery, grave space for a spouse is included, with a headstone and concrete grave liner. A photo copy of the Veteran's DD214 (discharge form) is required.
