Generally nice ppl BUT AN ISTITUTION DEDICATED TO TEACH YOUNG PPL HOW TO GASLIGHT, MANIPULATE AND EMOTIONALLY TARGET VULNERABLE MEMBERS OF SOCIETY!!! Spent 9 weeks here don’t go! Spend your time elsewhere! The church lies and whitewashes history 🤢

Chocolate milk hit differently here when the depression and homesickness hits lol but push through it’s way easier in the field and a lot more fun.

What a wonderful place. The MTC does everything possible and more to make the beginning of your mission a rewarding and empowering experience.

I really enjoyed the time I spent here. The food was really good (cafeteria style), the gym equipmenf was well maintained and the instructors were top notch! A good place to be.

This is the place that changes lives. Thousands of lives are affected by causes that can be traced back to this very place. This place has caused missionaries to change my life, for the better. I was in a huge rough patch, and the missionaries got me to go to church and stay faithful. Elder Bingham and Elder Dryden are the best missionary pair I've ever experienced a good time with, and they're absolutely awesome people. I hope to come here one day, to train for a mission, and to pass on the good deeds and life changing actions that is missionary work. Thank you, LDS, for changing my life forever.

I had the opportunity to go to the MTC to prepare for my mission. I loved every moment there. Everyone is in high spirits, the food is wonderful, the teachings are inciteful. I believe everyone who is able to serve a mission should.

The MTC was a fantastic experience, and a great way to start off my time out on a mission. The teachers are all wonderful and I learned so many things.

I have enjoyed my time at the MTC. To disperse any rumors, no the orange juice won't kill you and it is nothing like spirit prison. The people here are fun and friendly, they are in the same boat you are. And the food here is pretty good and there are plenty of options to eat, so you won't ever go hungry.

I have enjoyed the MTC, I stayed for two and a half weeks. The showers were good, I recommend wearing shower shoes/slides I have heard of people getting athletes foot. The beds were alright, a little old. I have heard the sister Missionaries say that their beds are much more comfortable. The air-conditioning was great. Great shows and talks weekly. The teachers were all friendly and nice. The new buildings are beautiful, great for studying and learning. The spirit their is very overwhelming, I have made many memorable experiences their. As well as some great friends.

New upgrades make the MTC better than ever. You get out of it what you put into it. A lot of passionate teachers with good advice. A great peer group with a lot of enthusiasm. Great camaraderie. Not open for tours usually.

Such an amazing place. The atmosphere is awesome, I forget I'm in a world where everything is going crazy. Also, how can you not rate 5 stars when you can learn Japanese in 9 weeks? It may be difficult, but I love it here.

Real life Spirit prison. You learn to be a missionary. You have a strict schedule to follow. Some teachers are not nice, but most are awesome. Devotionals were cool.

Recently toured the newer portions of the MTC. It's very impressive and the resources missionaries have today are far greater than that of even just a few years ago. Very neat!

I had the chance to go to the open house this week. We toured the main building, one of the older dorms (still not old enough to be the one I was in 20 years ago!) And the newest buildings. Wow! This place is way nicer than it was back in my day!
The cafeteria didn't smell of stale food and had plenty of Captain Crunch so missionaries in training will not starve! ;) My children said they want to serve missions and go to this training center.

Gained some weight, and learned a lot in preparation for my mission. I've also been inside the new buildings, and they are beautiful.

Loved my experience in the MTC, spent 6 weeks there and I learned tons and had so much fun with the other Elders there. It's not easy but prepares you for going out to the field.

This place was dope! I love the Spirit there, you will see a couple reviews here of RMs who went dark on here those fools went on their missions for themselves, not others, not for Christ. If you go for the right reasons and work hard, your mission will be the best thing you have ever done. If you don't, well you will always have problems. Just go and try your best. You don't need to be a perfect missionary, you just need to be your best self, and try harder every morning you wake up. Your mission will be slow the first 2-4 months but it just flies by after. Hold on our there! It gets better.
