Love this place so much! I even make sure to bring friends from out of town! Good stuff and reasonably priced!

I've gone there for years, quite happily, until recently. The current staff couldn't be ruder. Their roasted coffee is awesome, but when counter staff ignore me for 15 minutes, and then snap that "you need to wait! We'll get to you when we get to you!". That is when I take my business elsewhere. That is sad, because I have loved this place for quick, healthy, lunches, for over 10 years, but their current staff are pushing long-term customers, like me, to go elsewhere.

A very cool hole in the wall place with great service and prices. When I went to the location, I got a delicious smoothie that came in a large mason jar for under $5.

I prefer going to Professor Javas over any of the chain "cafes" in the area. Great, freshly-roasted coffee and yummy desserts. the salads are pretty good as are the wraps. Great place for a business meeting or to spend some time on my laptop to catch up.

Met a friend for coffee. A yummy selection of hot and cold beverages plus pastries and sandwiches. Cozy and comfortable. Staff lets you have your privacy and you can stay as long as you want. Sit alone with tea and a book, meet a group, whatever you want.

Pros: Good fresh coffee that is roasted there, ok pastery selection, has a menu and eating area.

Cons: took a few minutes to ring out 2 coffees, the bathroom had no tp, when I asked an employee about the pasteries the employee responded with an I don't know and went back to texting and drinking coffee.

Great selection of pastries. Definitely a trendy setting. The service is horrible due to the fact they don't dedicate someone to takeout cashier work and table waiting. So if the front gets congested your looking at a 20 plus minute wait to even see a server. Also they need a screen door, flies and bees get in which unsanitary and dangerous for those with allergic reactions to bees.

I loved the food and the people who work here. Our hostess made sure we were comfortable- she let us choose where we wanted to sit. I would go back and try other thing

My breakfast bagel sandwich was good, though the eggs and bacon were cooked in a microwave. I can get that at McDonald's. I thought the coffee would be better, being a coffee lounge, but it was just ok. Not a bad place for breakfast, but not the greatest.

I love coming here for the in-house baked goods, homey, comforting sandwiches, and fresh roasted coffee. The chocolate crumb cake is to die for. My biggest pet peeve is the frequency with which I have been served a room temperature cup of coffee from their thermal coffee carafes. Its clear that the coffee has been sitting in the carafe for well over an hour and no one kept track, or noticed that it was tepid (that is, no steam rising from it) while it was being dispensed. To me, this speaks of a serious quality and/or on-going training issue, as I have had this happen for many years.

If the staff took more care in the stewardship and serving of their coffee, Java's would be five stars in my book. That said, stop in if you're in the area and give it a try.

Excellent, smokey espresso in a well-made latte. Quick service, relaxed atmosphere.

Today, they do not even deserve this one star. We walked in like normal, my friend and we sat down. Waiting 10 minutes for a menu... the business wasn't even that busy and the majority of the people inside had already received food, drinks etc. I have been there and it has never taken this long. Two nice gentlemen sat down after us and within minutes were greeted and asked what they wanted. Which started my infuriation with this place. We finally got menus. And after five minutes knew what we wanted. From there. Waited another. 10 minutes and a little family came in. A baby (fast asleep) and the parents. Cute family. And the same young man that greeted the gentlemen next to us greeted the family again right away. And that's where I had had enough. Stood up and stormed out. Some people do work on sundays and have things they need to do. I did not have to be to work until 12, yes but We arrived at professor javas at 1040. Didn't get greeted until 11 something. And left at 1125. Absolutely ridiculous.

This place has a good comfy vibe too it. It is a bit hard to spot when you're flying down Wolf Road, but once you see the sign, you're practically there. The interior doesn't seem small at all, and there are plenty of pieces of art to keep your distracted while you sip on your non/caffeinated beverage. Great place to do some independent studying, and grab some coffee. Lots of coffee. Price range is decent, not too expensive. Also serves food.

I want to love this place. A local cafe with lots of seating and good options. But the service was not good. The person who took my order was rude and seemed like he didn't want to be there. And my hot chocolate had to be remade. I've had food here in the past and it's been good. But the service is always slow. They seem to be caught between a quick cafe and a sit down restaurant and don't do either one well.
