Very honest and up front people. They are all very nice and easy to get along with seems like they all come from small Iowa towns. I got a quote from my muffler to be repaired for 93 dollars while I was there getting my shocks replaced. They didn't pressure me into anything and they even told my muffler was in decent condition. There was nothing serouis wrong with it I could go a few more month's without getting it fixed, witch I already knew. I grew up in a family owned shop but I never brag about it going into a shop. I just ask them what my car needs and if they tell me something that dosent match up with what I know it needs then I go somewhere else instead of aruging with them because it shows they are dishonest people. These people care about you and your safety and also about not draining your bank account. Already have the next 2 repairs I wanted to get done on my car scedualed.

The heat shield on our Toyota Camry fell off. I brought it in with me, the tech said it would take 10 minutes. True to his word, 10 minutes later, it was reattached, and we were told "no charge". I will definitely bring my car to them in the future if there is actual "major" work to be done. Customre serviced = priceless. Note: Dealership would have charged me arm / leg. Two other places in town directed me to the dealership.

    Running an honest business -
I went to Professional Muffler 3 years ago in 2013 when I was living in Cedar Rapids, IA. My Accord was making a squeaking noise from the driver front tire. Professional Muffler told me a part needed to be replaced. They ordered the part and I took the car for service. While they were replacing the part and I was waiting in their guest area, they came back after 1 hr and said the part is no longer required to be replaced because the squeaking is gone. They did not charge me a penny. Shook hands and returned my keys with a smile. I feel a part of me lives in Cedar Rapids, because of their honesty. God bless them and I wish them all the best in life !!

I endorse Professional Muffler on Collins Rd. with confidence. They fixed my car's problems for less than $200 (whereas I had just been quoted up to $1100 at Midas). All of the issues were related to one singular problem, not the supposed "bucket list of things" I heard about at Midas. I also verified online that I got a very fair price for the work. They discussed the estimate with me, and looked confused when I asked about all of the other so-called issues I thought had to be fixed. They actually explained the problem and showed me where it was, as well as a potential future issue which was obvious to the naked eye. They emphasized that it wasn't urgent, especially if it's not in my budget.

On a side note, while I was there, one of the employees took time out of his work day to help out a confused young man who wandered into the shop and needed helping calling a taxi. I also think it's worth sharing that they have a vintage soda vending machine in the shop, and they actually use it.
