I am a Czech Republic native living in USA since 2003. I have organized countless guided tours for my friends and family to come see the wonders of Czech Republic. Everyone loved it and I thought why not do it for everyone interested. As someone who loves to travel herself I think it is always big advantage to have someone local plan it for me, take me places only locals will no about. In short just see the country like locals would do. Czech Republic has so much to offer starting obviously with its capital Prague. Prague is one of few cities that has never been destroyed therefore preserved all of its beauty for last 12 centuries. Which ever architectural style you like you will find it here. You can visit Prague any day of the year and it will always be amazing. Slight plus is to come in December when there is also amazing Christmas market. But as I said any season you will love it.
Aside from Prague Czech Republic is filled with gorgeous castles, beautiful churches, small towns that will take your breath away. And that there is our wine country. Just spend whole evening in private wine cellar tasting amazing wines and food. And then of course there is THE BEER. Czech Republic holds the first place in the world in consumption of a beer per capita per year. Take it or leave it is part of the culture for sure.
Czech Republic is centrally located so Vienna, Salzburg, Bratislava, Berlin or Dresden are only couple hours away and will make a great day trip.
