Our Goal, Our Purpose, Our Mission
Pottery Worx is a subsidiary of Friendship Community Care, Inc. and is an innovative retail model that is designed to actively promote community integration for people with developmental disabilities. Pottery Worx is here to provide a therapeutic, hands-on training environment for those with developmental disabilities by teaching them that their ideas and contributions are encouraged, respected and valued while providing them with instruction on daily business practices in a retail business setting. As well as being a carefree, upbeat art studio that provides a fun, relaxing atmosphere that will foster integration between those with disabilities and the general public.
