Highly recommend taking this scenic Ferry. Enjoy the Puget Sound while being surprised by whales. There is a nice little park next to the Terminal to enjoy a picnic overlooking the water. Unfortunately, no parking here; one can park adjacent to Safeway up the road and a bus will deliver you here.
Great ferry ride. Saved a lot of time going across the water vs doing the I-5 shuffle.
Nice ferry ride. This was the first walk on ferry I have done in Washington. We were staying in Coupeville and took the ferry over to P.T. for the day. Very affordable way to go, great PNW views along the way.
We rode the ferry with our 1969 VW Westfalia pop-top camper, the "Time Machine" on the way to our friend's blueberry farm south of Bellingham. I love being on a good-sized ship that is out to sea. The air, the water, the views of sea life.....but then again, why shouldn't I ? I'm from Arizona.
Enjoy the views from the ferry and always looking for whales. I have been lucky and have seen orcas.
Great ferry ride. It is interesting driving your car on a boat and then driving off somewhere else. I loved it.
Highly recommend taking this scenic Ferry to Coupeville. Enjoy the Puget Sound while being surprised by whales. A bus at the Coupeville terminal will take you directly to their charming town with restaurants and shops.
Quick to board, nice comfortable boat. Great views as you cross. Was $14.XX for 2 people in a car.
Make Reservations!!! Nice ride if it isn't very windy. Beautiful views. If you're lucky you might see seals or even a whale.
Excellent ferry to avoid having to go through Seattle to get to Olympic National Park. Managed to get on to the ferry with no reservation arriving 20 minutes before it sailed but would recommend getting a reservation instead to eliminate some stress. Quick approximately thirty minute trip and the ride into Port Townsend has a very nice view. Well maintained clean ferry with courteous staff.
We had no problems. The ferry seems to be run efficiently as far as time, right on schedule. The workers are friendly and helpful. The little Keystone cafe was nice to have there on the Coupeville side for breakfast.
