Pomegranate Cafe will always be my go-to place for vegan food. It’s so delicious! My favorite is the biscuits and gravy and the Baja mac. And, I love that whatever you get even if it’s the same thing it’s not made the exact same but tastes just as good and sometimes even better. Also, the atmosphere feels welcoming and very “at-home” with all the unique furniture and handmade pieces like the lights, outside tables, etc. I love this place! 💛

    You. Must. Ask for everything.
After initial interaction with the server, he brought us some water. Okay, great! Can we have some straws?
    Ordered food.
Can you take the menus away? (yes)
After not being able to finish our food...
Can we have to-go boxes? (yes
The to-go boxes couldn't hold the juices that our food contained so it leaked all over the table. The server didn't offer to help clean...
Can we have some extra napkins? (yes)
    Can we have more napkins??(oh..yes)
We then 2 to-go boxes stacked and tried to carry them out.
Do you guys have a bag? (yes)

Google brought me here as a pit stop on a drive to Tucson and it was exactly what I wanted. I didn’t even know it was vegan, I just thought “Pomegranate” sounded healthy and like they might have an option for me. It turned out to be Organic, all vegan, and that type of vegan cuisine that is so full of flavor and satisfying. I had the Green Bandito burrito and it was fabulous. Also there was a large selection of vegan pastries. I absolutely had to get one - it was a Samoa cookie thing and it was also amazing.

I really liked the patio here. Food is really good. It's not usual for me to be at a vegan restaurant but now I look forward to exploring this cuisine. I had the "in season scramble" for brunch with a Pink smoothie. Refreshing and filling at the same time. Overall a great experience.

I have a gluten intoletance and hardly eat out. My sister dragged me there and I am happy she did!
Portions huge! I had the mushroom burger on a homemade gluten free bread! Delicious!!! I was so full! As a dessert I had the lemon bar! I highly recommend it.
The kitchen and the rest of the facility is clean! Food and desserts delicious.
My wild cream drink with jalapenos was too HOT! I tried to soften the spice out with milk but that didn't work.
A little pricey, but worth it!

Despite them getting me and my brothers order wrong the first time, and although we waited quite a while for our first order (the incorrect one), after they came back once more the food was excellent. Their friendly service, great atmosphere, and delicious food made up for it! Id recommend this place to any vegan (or non-vegan) because their flavors and types of dishes most likely wouldn't be found anywhere else. Their fresh squeezed orange juice is amazing!

For a vegan, this spot is a must see. The atmosphere is comfortable and eye catching and the staff is very knowledgeable about vegan needs. We got the cheese crisp and bounty burrito.. phenomenal! Even the nachos were killer.. if you had no idea you were dining area a vegan restaurant, you'd have no idea they were 100% animal product free. And their desserts are just like the real thing.. the lemon cheesecake and peanut butter cups are awesome! Definitely coming back!

I've been enjoying meals at Pomegranate Cafe since it opened a number of years ago. Despite my long list of food allergies, I always know I'm safe here! The servers are all very knowledgeable about the menu and take special care/time to understand allergies. The best part? The food is INCREDIBLE. All the dishes have locally sourced, organic ingredients to create a unique twist on standard recipes. I am so grateful this restaurant has its roots in Arizona.

If your looking for fresh organic high quality food this place is the best. The staff is awesome. Sometimes there is a wait but it's worth the wait. Deserts are excellent. Our service has always been friendly and welcoming. Never had a bad experience.
    Highly recommend

I used to come here more often when there wasn't as many other options for vegans with gluten intolerances ... but this area has opened up a lot more places since. I still love this place, though it's so far away from where I live! Their desserts are ridiculously delicious. You HAVE to try their chocolate POM truffle. Their food is so yummy, though I feel lately they've been slacking. It's been lacking that full flavor it used to have. I think it might have to do with the revolving door of employees and the constant changing of the menu lately. The ambiance is great and I love that they source locally organic foods, as much as possible. The owner is pretty involved and friendly. The staff is awesome and friendly and hilarious! You gotta come and try this place, if you haven't already!

Pomegranate is our favorite vegan spot! We were lucky that it was located just down the street from our rental when we first moved to AZ. Now that we live in Gilbert, it's a bit of a trek. But, the food is amazing and the staff is very knowledgeable about the menu. Especially Stephanie and Andrew! They're the best!! However far you have to drive to get there, do it. You will NOT be disappointed!

After the long trek down to Mesa, it was all worth it. The menu is beautiful, so many options especially in regards to being allergy friendly. The smoothies and juices are to die for. The biggest issue is the prices, I can respect paying for what you get but over $10 for a drink is ludicrous.

Written on the menu in all caps "EVERYTHING ON THE MENU IN VEGAN", then directly under it: "we offer farm fresh eggs and organic cheese on some items". Underneath those excerpts you will find "WE CARE ABOUT THE EARTH" written at the bottom...

What is the point there? Please make the leap and go full vegan if you are even going to write that on your menu. Very put off by that being stated in the same sentence. I would be more willing to make the long trek to south valley if they would at least lower the prices.
