Great place to camp. It has great views, a river and wildlife.

Friendly camp host and well maintained bathrooms and grounds. We stayed there for a while and loved it so much! We saw so much wildlife and my daughter learned a lot being out there. We will most definitely be returning!

This place hasn't changed much over the years. It's your standard family campground as they've been for decades.

Easily accessible campsites, beautiful fishing, clean permanent toilets, the campsites could be a little better maintained or the fee could be lower.

This is walk in camping with metal fire rings and an outhouse. I enjoyed my stay by the river!

Overall, this is a good place for a quick trip, especially for campers with little experience.

Convenient location near south Denver if you are looking for a quick camping trip. Based on this just expect other campers to be nearby. Most seemed to be looking to float the river or have a quick stop on the way to further camping spots. Camps are feet from a road and the Platte river. Daytime sees tubers/rafters and fly fisherman. Also the occasional motorcycle cruisers go by. There is a short fly fishing trail along the river. More experienced hikers can cross the road into the wilderness. Each site has a campfire ring and picnic table. Dumpster and toilets are also onsite. Those looking for firewood can cross the road and hike up a ways to get some twigs. Deckers is close by if supplies are needed.

Love it here! It's the best tubing spot for that lazy river float.
