Trails and waterfalls are stunning! A little muddy at times, gotta find your footing or you'll end up on your tail, but without a doubt a great place. I plan to come back and go camping.

Went to see the Winter Lights on Christmas Day of 2017 and it was beautiful. The lights they had on display were truly magical. They even hjad a wishing tree and a quaint train with a city surrounding the tracks. A gift for everyone to enjoy.

Great place to ski, snow bored, and go tubing. Also a nice quite place to chill out. Staff is very helpful. I would recommend it to anyone

I love this place! Having been born in Western North Carolina, I have been here many times. I will never tire of the beauty of the Pisgah National Forest. To me, there is nothing comparable. I have always loved being one with nature. This is a place to do just that. If you take the time to be still and quiet, you will see the creatures of the forest begin to cautiously move about. I find it highly therapeutic!
This is a beautiful place that has been preserved, aside from being made accessable, in it's natural state for all of us to enjoy! In doing so, please respect the forest and it's inhabitants, so that we can have this wonderful treasure into infinity. We the people own this most excellent resource! I would highly recommend a visit to anyone who enjoys some down time from the daily grind.

Quiet, peaceful, and fairly private. There are so many excellent trails and camping spots throughout the park. If you're up for a challenge, there is a series of beautiful trails that leads up to the Craggy Gardens Visitor Center on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I highly recommend visiting the Pisgah National Forest

Love the area for hiking and mountain biking. I would say mtm biking is more for intermediates to hard core seasoned riders. 1 good beginner trail but short. I take kayak for other day activities too. Good cabins to rent around area.

This is a great place to go year round, but during the summer you will find that it is about 10-15 degrees cooler than the city. They have some amazing waterfalls but please be careful, DO NOT stand near the top of waterfalls! Many tourists die every year from falling from the top. If you make your way to the blue ridge parkway you will find some of the best views in the area.

Absolutely gorgeous. The nature was beautiful to see and and we had a fantastic time. We couldn't be happier with the trip. I believe that we are blessed to live in the most beautiful and tranquil mountain ranges in the world. This place offers amazing views during a leisurely drive. Along the way there are plenty of overlooks where you can stop to take pictures and enjoy the breathtaking views. God Bless The USA!

Absolutely stunning scenery! Blue Ridge Parkway great fun drive. Love the Cradle of Forestry. Great place for adults, seniors & kids to visit. Great food & wonderful hotels, lodges and camping. Best small towns around. Sliding rock such fun. Lots of waterfalls to see. Great places to hike. Informative ranger stations, wildlife areas, fish hatchery and fishing. Love the back roads.

God's country (of course it's in the South, silly). Beautiful scenery, easily accessible, many hiking trails for the beginner as well as the more experienced hiker. Stunning waterfalls, varied end unusual plants and animals. Well worth the time to get away from the grind of civilization and connect with oneself and the God Who revels in the creation of such beauty.

Pisgah Forest is, in my opinion, one of the best places enjoy the nature of the south. The variety of ecosystems located in this one forest is astounding. I would say my favorite short hike is the trail that leads to the base of the north side of looking glass rock.

Have been hiking and camping here for around 15 years. There is no place like it. You can watch the sun rise on one side and watch it set on the other side of table rock. You can hike down into the gorge and swim or fish. You can see wildlife like no other. From Peregrine falcons to ravens, black bears to cougars , there is plenty to do for any age group.

I visited here as a week long trip with my family and what can I say, this park is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

There are so many things to see and so many trails to hike here! Looking Glass and Sliding Rock are two of the most popular waterfalls, both are swim-able. Sliding Rock is fun because, as the name states, you get to slide down the face of the waterfall into the cold water below! Looking Glass is where a lot of people like to swim at the base of the waterfall.

They have miles of hiking trails that range in difficulty that make this the perfect place for any adventurer. If you love hiking, this is the place for you.
