A great place to hang out and have fun with the family. Also, we dealt with Patrick, who works there, and he was honestly one of the nicest people you could meet in Hilton Head.
Thanks Patrick!!!
Went with my daughter, son- in- law and two young children and we had a brilliant time. The children loved the small clubs and enjoyed finding the next numbered green to play on. It was such a nice touch to get a flag and pirate hat the end. Highly recommend!
One of the best miniature golf locations we've ever played. Well kept, fun holes and friendly staff. Definitely should try out this place!
Excellent golf course that is well maintained and very well-rounded. The hard side is definitely challenging but the easy side is very family-friendly in terms of difficulty. I think the more difficult course has the better decorations, though the hard side has a cave portion that is very fun. Highly recommend you try out this golf course if you're in the area. Will definitely be coming back.
We were on our way home to Palm Bay Florida after being on the road since Friday keeping away from Hurricane Irma. We came to the Day's Inn for the night that Tuesday and no one was in the hotel, the Hilton Head Diner was closed for the evacuation and Pirate Island was open. The one person there was the man running it. I wanted to take a walk to relax and enjoy the weather. It was beautiful out. This place was so lit up and music was playing and so well kept that it really brightened my spirits up.
We went here as a family of 3. There are 2 courses here. We chose the 'easier' course. It was not an easy course. My 8 year old shot a 72, and got a little frustrated at times because some holes were tricky. Some were tricky because of obstacles. Others were tricky because the hole was not flush to the surrounding ground, so if it wasn't on a perfect line at a perfect pace, it would roll away.
The atmosphere and decor was great. Lots of props, music playing, water features.
They give you a free token for a future visit when you get certain hole in 1's. Sometimes even if you don't get them. We ended up going a total of 3 times during our week long visit to HHI. So that promotion worked for us.
Loved it. Child friendly, 2 courses, and 2 different skill levels. Worth going to, but get there early. It gets hot quick, and although it's shaded, it is not covered everywhere, so prepare to sweat. For those reviews that say the course doesn't have sides, it's the challenge course that doesn't. The regular one does have sides. Part of the challenge is not having the sides. Overall, a worthwhile adventure!
Great. Took my kids there and had a blast. I thought it was a bit pricey, but I am cheap. The course is great. There is a hard side and a classic. The classic was perfect for our kids.. Great staff. Good, quick and relaxing fun.
This is my family's favorite miniature golf course in Hilton Head. The atmosphere is great! The courses are challenging and there are plenty of photo opportunities. We have been coming here for years and always been very pleased.
This is just do for our entire family when we come to Hilton Head. The staff are so sweet and friendly. Always tidy and clean. Very relaxing place to hangout with the family. I recommend this place for anyone or any age.
We had a large group from a 2 year old to someone in their 60's and everyone had fun. We played at dark with a full moon in the sky. The place was decorated pretty cool and the holes were fun to play.
We love coming here year after year. For Memorial Day weekend, they will waive the kid fee of $10.50 if you donate $5 to their Veteran's Fundraiser and you get a bottle of cold water, with a coupon for another free kids game!
Visiting from New York and we had a wonderful experience at Pirates Island. Very friendly staff each time we visited and the course is so much fun! After golfing, we received a pirate flag for each of our kids and a cool pirates cardboard hat. Great selection of frozen treats to help cool off afterwards. Decor and set up was awesome as well. Will visit for years to come!!
