I was donating to this shelter because the shelter really needed it, well at least for the dogs. These people were very rude to me& still are, yet I'm not doing it for the people who work at the shelter. I'm donating stuff for the dogs! I also saw a dog who was crying out for helpwhen a rescue team went to the shelter on a Saturday, the shelter was closed& he arrived there at 2:30pm. Doesn't it say that they're open till 4pm. They don't take this job seriously& treat it like it's just another job& that's it. I don't even believe that they actually even like working at the shelter!

Very pleasant people. I called ahead and they allowed me to bring in my Chihuahua to pick out a cat that gets along with him. They were very understaffed the day I went, and they still did an excellent job taking care of me.

That the people here are not very pleasant. I personally don't feel that they are in it for the animals. It's just a job to them and they do not "get paid overtime". They aren't willing to stay even 15 minutes late for a person who is actually going to adopt one of the poor animals that would just be put down in a few days or remain there miserable and flea-infested. They don't even work weekends? I mean, come on! Those poor animals don't stand a chance because hardworking people can't get there to actually save one. [Their 'late' day is until 5:00] So if you can adopt, but be prepared to get your new pet a flea bath and don't rely on the 'kind' people to try to work with you on anything.
