This is a upscale place, dishes start around $40 dollars and up. I have to say that the dishes are not worth the price. My appetizer was salty and the food was not that great. I guess I had high expectations for this place and was let down ;( the staff however are very nice. Presentation of the dishes are very good, but not the taste.
Pikayo is a fine dining Puerto Rican cuisine restaurant. The food is not like any other as IT IS FINE DINNING! with a PR flair.Food is exquisite, love the Alcapurrias, fish and desserts. For all of those 1 to 3 star reviews, it seems that if you can not afford fine dinning, meaning great food, great service stick to Loiza, luquillo simple flavor with simple ambience
Where you don't have to dress up and leave a 5 star
What you all do not understand is that you get what you pay for, I got the book from Chef Willo and the recipes come out delicious, I'm glad to have it and
It's a shame that guests come in and give poor reviews, but guess what? We the guest who have tried it many times, know the truth. The truth is that no matter how good it may be it will never be able to please guest who have already a misconception of
Fine dining, nor guest who were born with unpleasant attitudes, demeanors and a problematic sense of life, including those who think they are food critics- Yelp. How SAD. As for all of us who enjoy Picayo, let's continue coming and writing great reviews, Bon Appetite!!
The tasting menu was fantastic and well worth the price. Our server, Jorge, and his team made the experience second to none in fine dining.
The best restaurant in PR and one of the best anywhere. Will definitely return on our next trip.
*Dont forget the chocolate soufflé
Amazing view amazing service amazing food under one roof the soup to start is a good choice with good quality tenderloin steak to die for
A nice atmosphere in the Hilton Hotel. Take the elevator or escalator to the M level for the restaurant. Excellent service and very good food. Higher prices but a good dining experience.
