If you look at my other reviews, you will see I generally give 5 and 4 stars. I am not a complainer. I am an easy going kind of person. However, I think the older male pharmacist needs to be replaced. He was working his shift June 21st at 5:00 or 6:00 pm
I almost wonder if he is part owner or relative of the owner. I can't imagine any other reason for him to still have the position. Please read the reviews below and see how many people were disappointed by this man's behavior. I came in today for a B12 shot. I was friendly and smiling. I asked who I could talk to for a B12 shot. The pharmacist indicated it was him. He looked me up and down pointedly with a scowl. I hoped I was misinterpreting this, but have read other reviewers were treated unkindly due to class. I am not low class. In fact, far from it, but I have an unusual style. I have bright dyed hair and had multiple bags. I had bags with stuff for my summer program at Naropa and a bag of Tibetan clothing I had bought. I think he thought I was indigent or something by the look he gave me. He told me it would be $25. Which is on the sign so obviously I know. He told me it could take 5 to 10 minutes. I said, "OK I have time."He then told me I had to fill out a form and to do it "legibly." His tone was condescending and nasty. I smiled and said "I will do my best. We will see!" No smile from him. A grunt. He turned back to train the female pharmacist. I finished the form and pushed it forward. He talked to the woman, while I looked at him with a quizzical smile. He muttered, " Leave it there". I wasnt sure that was meant for me. I figured he might have questions since I marked that I do have allergies (keflex, latex, among others) and I have had a bad reaction to a vaccine (seizures). He handed a man a bag. I made eye contact and he said "just leave it there." I checked the time. I had been waiting more than ten minutes, as he trained the woman. He could have been training her on how to help me and continued other instruction later. I have worked in customer service. I know how to have a new hire shadow me. I know to save detailed instruction for times when I am not with a customer. I left the store. Not because I couldn't wait, but because that lack of professional behavior and care made me not want an injection from that individual. If the manager or owner requires more information, I would be happy to give it.

This is a glorified CVS, but the clerks will never miss a chance to be aloof and condescending to anybody that is middle-class in appearance. Avoid this particular Pharmaca location at all costs. Despite this place's claimed "integrative approach" to wellness, I left sick to my stomach.

Everyone is super helpful and knowledgeable. The variety of products are great. A bit pricey though.

Really disappointed in this pharmacy. When I attempted to order compound tablets for HRT, I was told they didn't provide those, but I could have the dissolve-in-your-mouth troche. I was told they taste "good" with a peppermint flavor, and that they easily dissolve between your cheek and gum. No mention of the fact that they take nearly an hour to dissolve completely, that they are hard and uncomfortable pushing against your gums, that they leave a horrible bitter taste and residue in your mouth, and that you're drooling the entire time it takes for the little waxy cake to dissolve. After a week of this, I couldn't take it anymore and ordered the tablet form from Belmar Pharmacy. When I called Pharmaca back to say that If I'd been fully informed about the troche cakes, I wouldn't have ordered them, I asked if I could I have my money back? "No." Then, could I get a discount on something else? "No." The pharmacist proceeded to tell me that other people really liked these, implying that my opinion didn't count.

I live right around the corner from here, and as a result I am in there often multiple times a week. The staff is consistently lovely, helpful, and kind. I have never had anyone be rude when picking up prescriptions. Prices are on the high side (it's pharmaca, after all), but you can consistently find deep discounts on many products. I love this place.

Great experience, great brands, so glad I don't have to order all my vitamins anymore! I highly recommend.

I think the bad reviewers must be planted by competitors or people with personality disorders. I have gone to this pharmacy for many years and have received excellent service.
