It's a great place to be long. It is a larger church, but they do an excellent job of connecting. They have many resources available. As well as multiple small groups to meet various different needs.

WOW!!! My Hubby Robert and I just came back from an AWESOME God Gifted and such a timely message, one that I needed to hear for a VERY LONG time!!! I was wallowing in my self pity when I went to Petra, this morning, for the very first time in my life, I have never been to Petra. And by the time I left, I was in what seemed to be, in Love with my Jesus all over again, and I wasn't feeling sorry for myself anymore!!! I want to get that message that I heard from Pastor Lester Zimmerman from today and keep it always close to me, so when I fall into the pit of self pity, I can listen to it again and again!!!
We were in need with help for our rent, about 18 - 20 years ago. I called Petra, and spoke with the Pastor there at that time, which I think was Pastor Lester Zimmerman, himself. I don't know, because I never met him face to face, until today when I heard him Preach. We needed $400 and he said that he would give us $200. I never went to that Church before or anything, and Pastor was willing to help us, anyway. He offered us an invitation to his Church. I never went. Until today, 18 - 20 years later. I am glad I went, because I met some awesome people!!!
Petra Church, is an AWESOME Church, and if you want to hear a God Given Message, you must go there and hear what they have to say about God and just always trusting the Lord for all of your needs!!!
It is a beautiful day in the Lord for me, today. I am so glad that there are Churches like Petra around, to help me pick up the pieces, when I am down and out!!! :)

Absolutely fantastic. Very family-friendly a ton of stuff for the kids and a lot of extra to go along with it honestly the Lord's House has never looked so good

I have never been to this church. I hadn't even heard of it until today. My friend just leased an apartment in New Holland, and he an I were moving all of his stuff in today. After the third bureau and the second couch, we still had a half full uhaul to go, and we were exhausted. Suddenly two cars full of 8 able bodied adults rolled up, and asked if they could help us. Ten minutes later all of the stuff was in the second story apartment. They didn't ask for anything in exchange for the work. They said they came from this church.

Petra Church is VERY welcoming! They have an amazing children's ministry (the best I've seen), and they have something for absolutely everyone. This church strives to help every person grow in their Christian faith -- they broadcast their services online, offer classes on how to get more engaged in the church, have church-wide book clubs, host community groups all over the region (see their website for ALL of the Life Groups they have!), VERY ACTIVELY engage in the community and walk with you as you do LIFE. This is an EXCELLENT place to get stuck in, and I encourage you to try it!

Pastor Lester and his team are great servants of God who love people and minister to the whole family. I would highly recommend this church.
