The Shoppe is well-maintained and run by honest, knowledgeable and square-dealing people. It's my first choice for fish and aquatic plants. Chain stores can't compare. Support local small business.

This shop not only has a very knowledgeable staff but the animals are very well taken care of. The owners are always feeding the animals and cleaning the cages to ensure proper health and education. Definitely the most knowledgeable and fun pet store to go to.

There are roaches everywhere. And the animals are in bad living environments. There was a dead gerbil and the other gerbils were eating it, the owner only noticed when I said something. I bought a bird from this pet shop and took him to the vet he was extremely underweight and was left in his cage with no human interaction for a year. I'm only posting this to warn others this place seems nice and the owner is also nice. I just don't think he is able to take care of all of the animals by himself and keep everything clean including the pet shop itself and the cages.
