You come here for the veggies. It's not the largest selection but they do taste very, very fresh, or as they say- from harvested to your plate in 24 hours or less. The veggie bar is lacking in variety, but this could be seasonal. The hot bar is weak aside from the soups, and mostly feels bolted on without much consideration. Some of the pasta was too soft, probably from sitting too long. Deserts a very limited but all tasted fairly light. One cleanliness note- I saw three different cups in this visit with small pieces of food caked on the inside. Probably a failure of an automatic dishwasher, but easily remedied.
Great salads, soups, pasta, potatoes and dessert. The kids love the Mac and cheese as well as the muffins, cookies and other desserts. Premise and dressed salads on the bar are very tasty. Then adding all your other favorite ingredients to make the salad you like. Table servers are friendly and helpful.
The salad bar offers a wide range of vegetables and pre-made salads ranging from typical spinach salads to quinoa. There are soups for all tastes, and the hot bar has decent pastas and very good pizza and muffins. And to finish it off there is fruit and soft serve ice-cream. Would be five stars but the price especially for a family is on the higher end of reasonable.
Rebranded Soup Plantation of So-Cal fame. Huge buffet at first appearance, actually offering less than one might expect. Few other food choices other than build your own salad and soup selections. All items fresh...
Excellent vegetarian options. Shrimp bisque is AWESOME! But it won't be available again until late OCT. Asian Ginger Broth is this month's replacement. Not even a contest.
Zucchini Nut Muffins are currently available! I dare you to eat just one. I hope this treat will become a regular.
Great place to have healthy food. Once can choose what to eat and prepare it as per taste.
Good selection of lettuce and salad ingredients not to mention croutons we're fabulous. The pizza bread was delicious. Also enjoyed the blueberry and poppy seed muffins.
Their freshly prepared hot items are quite yummy! Different soups everyday and a selection of fresh baked muffins, along with baked potatoes (including sweet one.) A little pricey for a salad bar, but you won't leave hungry!
My girlfriends and I come here frequently. It's hard to find a place with a good salad bar! Everything is always very clean and well stocked. Staff is friendly. Parking is easy and abundant.
As Sweet Tomatoes go, this one is okay. Some servers are great while others are okay. The management isn't particularly warm or welcoming most of the time. They tend to skimp on the ingredients to their specialty salads (e.g. very few strawberries in their strawberry salad) unlike other Sweet Tomatoes I've been to. If you're craving Sweet Tomatoes, it's fine, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.
Awesome place for healthy eating. Has myriad of salads, soups, pizza and ice cream. Great quality and quantity.
Variety and quality is comparable or better than most buffets. Very friendly staff, more so than most, probably part of their training and leadership push. Good overall experience and atmosphere
A great destination for a light, healthy lunch or a relatively 'green' dinner. Tons of options for putting together your salad that leave other commercial salad bars wanting (looking at you Ruby Tuesday). The baked goods side is always interesting as well (love the coconut muffins) and the soups are always an interesting variety when I go. The staff is friendly too.
If I was just rating the staff this would be a 5-star review. From first greeting to final goodbye, the staff (especially the women at the salad bar & register) treated me like a new friend they were happy to meet. Amazing warmth. The food is good & fresh, although I've seen more salad options at similar chains. But fine for the price. I'd go back.
We went to this Sweet Tomatoes because we read online that they clearly label their gluten free foods on the salad bar. As I have gluten sensitive children, this helps us very much. First of all, not a single dressing was labeled as gluten free (apparently they are all). Second, we watched a worker handle a gluten item and then plunge her gloves into a gluten free food. When I commented, I was told it wasn't enough gluten transfer for her to be worried. Third, the young woman at the front couldn't process my visa gift card because she doesn't know how to run it was a credit card. When I tried to explain age argued with me. I asked her to run it again as a partial payment as a credit card, she deliberately ran it as a gift card to get it declined, then pointedly turned and handed me the card to make her point. When I gave her a different form of payment she fawned all over me, syrupy sweet in her sympathy. Definitely not a location to which I will return.
