I went to Perfect Dress, and there were only 3 gowns in sizes larger than 8/10 that were not A-line. Most of their samples were in a size 8 or 10 (6/8 in regular clothing), which is very small for bridal. Their dresses that were in larger sizes all looked the same. Not only does this limit the options for brides who are not incredibly thin, but I imagine that for most brides it hurts their self-esteem and makes it difficult for local brides to find unique gowns. It also sends the message that only thin brides should wear certain silhouettes, which is not the message I would hope for, especially considering how amazing mermaid and trumpet gowns look on curvy women. I feel that when you work in bridal you should want to broaden your clientele and be able to serve as many women of diverse shapes and sizes as possible, and not have to turn away customers simply because your samples are smaller than the average woman. And even if you do not end up selling to a bride, it should always be your goal to have her leave your shop feeling beautiful! The solution that many other bridal shops have found is ordering gowns in 12/14's and clipping them for smaller women, so that they can get an idea how how they fit and curvier women can fit into them as well. Then they also order their gowns in plus-size so that anyone who cannot fit into a 14 has a plus size option. This is a more inclusive way of choosing samples and allows them to serve more clients. I would hope that Perfect Dress diversifies their size options for future brides!

My sister purchased her wedding dress here as did all of us bridesmaids. Their dresses are nice but not worth the money. They are made some what cheap and when they fitted us not one of the dresses fit right. I told them when they measured me to take it in a couple inches from my measurement in clothing. The lady proceeded to tell me it's easier to take it in than let it out, leaving me to believe they would take it in if needed. I guess I should have asked because everyone of us including the bride had to take our dresses elsewhere to pay to have them altered after we spend 300$ a piece for each dress. My sisters dress (BM) was I kid you not a FOOT to long for her and and the other dresses were several inches to long for all of us. We all broke the little threaded clasps at the top putting them on for the first time. The top of my dress around my chest is so big that when i slouch you can almost see my boobs. They did not fix the dresses and acted as if it wasn't their problem. So if you don't mind spending a lot of money on a dress and then having to have it fixed by someone else you have to pay then this is the place for you! If we had it to do over we would not have chosen this place.

I cannot say enough how much I loved and enjoyed my experience at The Perfect Dress. Allison and Carson helped me and made me feel as if I was the most important person they serviced. They were recommended to me by several people and I will always send friends and family their way. So thankful for them!

Allison and the staff were the absolute best!! I felt so comfortable walking in for the first time, and every day after that. I had to have several alterations.one being 3 days before my wedding! I wasn't stressed at all because I knew they would take care of everything. I wouldn't suggest anywhere else.they will make you feel so special!!

I had a great experience here! After going to David's Bridal in Birmingham, I was very discouraged. I decided to come here after looking at their website. I'm EXTREMELY picky and was scared I would never find anything. I found a perfect gown at this store. They had unique selections at great prices. The manager was extremely patient with me and did all she could to make my experience amazing. I recommend end this store to all my friends! The ladies there were so sweet, and I'm so grateful I went there! I should have gone there first!

Alison and her staff were wonderful! The bridesmaid dress I bought was perfect and the quality was unbelievable for the price I paid. I have bought many bridesmaid dresses in the past and I have never had a more professional service than I experienced at Perfect Dress of Rome.
Brides and Bridesmaids-do NOT go anywhere else this is the place to go!

Excellent experience with Perfect Dress! Allison went above and beyond to serve me and my large bridal partyshe even went in on an off day to track down an extra bridesmaids dress for me 3 weeks before my wedding! No where else will you find that kind of service! I even trashed my dress in Armuchee Creek a few weeks after the weddingAllison convinced me to have it cleaned rather than throw it away. Glad I listened! Took it back to her and she had it looking brand new again! Highly recommend Perfect Dress for YOUR perfect dress!:)
