I have eaten fast food Chinese for 45 years now. I used to eat at Chinese restaurants in Chinatown in Philadelphia and New York City. I am from Pennsylvania and have eaten fast food Chinese for decades.
My first puzzler is how this restaurant could be on a good eats page? Are all restaurants this bad in Bloomington Indiana? Are people actually this tolerant of terrible food in Bloomington Indiana?
I ordered fried dumplings, 2 egg rolls, house lo mein, and wonton soup.
Egg rolls, flavorless. Nothing but slimy coleslaw. Grade: D I struggled through the first one, and wound up throwing the second one out.
Dumplings: The meat inside was pink, that would mean uncooked. The flavor was bad, Grade: D. I actually could only eat two, before making my mind up to just stop.
Wonton Soup: fairly flavorless, no pork in it whatsoever, mostly vegetables and chicken broth that was greasy. One of the worst wonton soups I have ever had in 50 years! Grade: C , And I always judge my Chinese restaurants on it's wonton soup I should have known not to try the main course.
House lo mein : noodles were incorrect. Far too much soy sauce, far too much oil. The entire dish was a dark brown color, one could not distinguish chicken or shrimp or beef it was that dark.
Far too much grease. You could easily cut 50% of the soy sauce and 50% of the oil and improve this dish. Without a doubt the worst lo mein I have ever had.
I could not finish it, and threw most of it away.
I actually do not like leaving a bad review on any business, I understand how hard it can be. But in order to open up a restaurant, one should already know how to make the specific dishes correctly. Therefore I believe you deserve this review.
The good, hungry people of Bloomington Indiana that really do want good Chinese food deserve your talent, and should be demanding that you produce a higher quality meal. I honestly cannot see myself ever ordering from your restaurant again. Consider me incredibly disappointed.

This was by far the worst Chinese food I have ever had. How hard is it to make sweet and sour chicken? Obviously too hard. The chicken was severely over cooked and all deep fried breading. I ordered fried rice, even paid an extra $1 for it but still got white rice. Does any place in Bloomington, Indiana know how to cook Chinese food? I have tried 5 so far all are terrible. I guess I will just wait to go back home to Michigan to get real Chinese food.

Ordered food and they came hours later and when they came it was cold and my crab ragoon was horrible!! Ordered a dinner plate and it was small I got a corner of rice and chicken that wasn't even general tso's. I called up there and they were EXTREMELY rude! I could N E V E R EVER order from there again!! I wish I could've gave them a half of a star because they definitely don't deserve a full star.

There are many Chinese restaurants in Bloomington I tried and some are serving good Chinese food. But If you want GREAT Chinese food you must try this one! I usually order once in a week for delivery. They always arrive fast and best dish I LOVE is general tso chicken! For the price, it's not the cheapest you can find around but you get what you pay for! Thumbs up! Highly recommended !

Utterly disappointing. Ordered a simple beef meal, & received an unknown meat that was pure gristle. When I asked the waitress if meat choice was ordered wrong (accidentally of course), she said no it was what I ordered, I replied with, "is beef supposed to be white?" She said "it's beef, look at the lines in the meat!" No refund was offered, or choice of something different to eat, justnothing. It was the most expensive mistake I have ever made with food. The fortune cookie was even stale! Lol! I won't ever go back again. Good customer service, & quality food standards are a must in this town! There are a lot of great places (less expensive too!) to compete with, you need to bring your "A" game!
