  It was my first time at this location. I'm lucky I wasn't getting balloons because the balloon line apparently was 30 minutes plus. when I got in line I was probably only the fifth person, but it took over half an hour to get through. They just lacked cashiers and general organization. Employees were pleasant.

  I never leave reviews for anything ever but I’m currently standing in line on my lunch break where I’ve been for 20 minutes and it hasn’t moved. The store isn’t particularly crowded, but this store is painfully understaffed. One woman is working the register while simultaneously doing the balloons, while the woman who is supposed to be doing the register has been helping one customer the entire time. I’m just here to pick something up and there is no one at the pick up window. Will never use this party city again.

  Seems like there was to much socializing in that store. Most of the people weren't very helpful.There was a line with about 7 people, which doesn't make sense because there were at least 6 associates is behind the check out area but only one person really ringing out. Only one individual was very helpful even though he was busy doing something. And I purchased this helium tank which I'm not really satisfied with but only bought it because it was the last one in stock.

  Bad experience. My son went to return a costume we found on line for 20$ less. He had the receipt, the merchandise and the credit card which was the original method of payment inside the bag, yet he was escorted back outside the store by security cause he was classified as too young to do returns. Yet, at the time of purchase, he wasn't too young to purchase. That concept I can't gather in my mind. When I asked security what was the issue he explained that he's not allowed to go into a store with a bag cause kids have the "tendency of slipping unpurchased merchandise into the bag". I found offensive 1) given we live in the neighborhood 2) he purchased with his own credit card and 3) my son spoke intellectually for his age. That alone should've serve as consumer with good intentions instead of basing the age as a red flag. And even if he was really going based on age, he could've taken a good look at him and noticed that this kid is well dressed, cleaned and well taken care of. My child has it all. Can't even find anything to give him for the Christmas holiday. He recently got a summerhouse this past summer for when he gets older so he and friends may stay at a clean place instead of a 5 star resort which sometimes comes with uninvited creepy and crawly guests, if you know what i mean?

  the PARTY is over, and the City has turned sh*tty.
  
  place is full of party schwag/merchandise & costume, masks, candy, etc. for Halloween, themed parties etc.
  
  the problems:
  a huge disorganized space
  too much merchandise crammed everywhere
  unmotivated staff
  
  further problems:
  the staff is not knowledgeable about what is sold at this location
  quality of party items is crappy
  the staff seems unhelpful, depressed and lazy
  
  i came here for a big gift bag for some presents i bought. i also needed some wrapping paper and tissue paper. i asked several staff members for help: one staffer replied that PARTY CITY doesn't sell wrapping paper, tissue paper, and gift bags (are you kidding me? haha.). another staffer said she was new and didnt know where anything way. and another staffer tried to help but didn't know which aisle those items were.
  
  after a little bit of searching on my own, i found all the items. i was so disgusted with the lack of service at this PARTY CITY...i bought only a few dollars of merchandise instead of spending about $20-$25 and then went to Duane Reade to get what i needed.
  
  come here for the prices, but don't expect much in terms of service.
  
  i doubt the folks who own/manage Party City realize how much business their staff is losing for them. this place is a dumpster fire, waiting to erupt.
  
  they even ran out of large shopping bags at the cashiers...this place is trash.
  
  drops mic cuz the real party will be when this place goes belly up

  Got my party supplies. I went up to the register and ask for help to get a costume. I was standing at the costume display about 15 minutes so I went back to the register and ask the same person I ask the first time if I can get someone to help me . Within five minutes someone came and help me. The Party City store with only one register open. Overall you going to get everything you want for your party but you got to wait on very long lines and only one cash register open.To find someone to help you it's going to take a little time.

  Corporate party supply. Most of this stuff is junk that gets used for an hour then ends up in a landfill but sometimes you just need an incredible hulk birthday banner. Great selection of balloons including mylar letters and numbers.

  Try to go anywhere but here for your party needs. Called the store and spoke with what THEY call a salesman, to order balloons. The man was incapable! I asked if I come in the morning would they be able to have balloons by 5 that evening. He said that was the best idea. So I arrived, physically picked out balloons, paid and asked if they could deliver. They said no "same day delivery"!
  Ok, I came back at 5pm with an Uber and they could not find the order., hence it was not ready. I waiting 45 minutes for the balloons and was late for the event I was taking them to!
  Each time I went there were more then 20 on line to pay with 1 or 2 cashiers. One of the worse stores I've had to deal with in a long time. Complete chaos and inept sales people.

  DO NOT ORDER FOR NEW YEAR'S EVE BALLOONS!!
  I placed an order a 11 days before NYE and asked multiple times if they could accommodate my order. My balloons were supposed to be ready at 4:00 and when I got there they said to come back just before store closing at 7:00 PM. The entire time, the staff was rude and refused to give any concrete answers as to when our order would be ready. When we went back at 7:00, the order had not even been started.
  
  WE NEVER RECEIVED OUR ORDER!
  
  They were offering to refund us, but what we needed was our balloon order for the party of 200 people starting in an hour. We were left inflating balloons ourselves in the hour before the event.
  
  Overall, a HORRIBLE experience and ATROCIOUS customer service.
