All the handmade crafts were amazing to look at. The prices are higher than your "usual" gift shop, but with that said, I didn't see any "Made in China" stickers. Which I am not complaining about the the prices because everything was of a solid quality that would last for years to come, true craftsmanship. We purchased a few wooden items but I regret not buying a leather purse! 😩

Visited with my fiancée on her birthday; loved the various earthenware and treeware crafts thoughout the beautiful home. Defonitely plan on visting again!

Amazing Place to Visit. Parking can be limited on busy weekends just off the Parkway outside Blowing Rock. Spend your money on something from a great local artist instead of some cheap crap at a big box home store! Plan on spending time seeing the Moses Cone Manor. Restrooms are not in the Main House on the opposite ends of the grounds

What a nice center to display the crafts of local artists! The drive is beautiful and the views can be spectacular. The old house looks like it fell out of "Gone With The Wind." It needs a little maintenance, but still makes a beautiful statement with the white columns against the green of the countryside.
The items for sale are a bit on the pricey side, but are very nicely made. There are many things that I'd love to have from the jewelry to the housewares. For now they'll have to wait, but I'm in high hopes of "someday."
