I went there for the first few months of my freshman year and it was an amazing school, except for the baseball and volleyball coach issue of course. I went to a game recently, the football team is good but my marching band friends told me they had to call an ambulance three times the week before because their band director was working them too hard. Obviously they're a better band because of it but it's terrible how far the teachers will push the kids.

Your typical high school, with both its good aspects and its negative aspects. Parkview has decent sports teams, a good ROTC program, fairly well-maintained facilities, and some well-respected faculty members. However, academic scores are much lower than what they used to be a few years ago, and are quickly continuing to fall. Plenty of faculty is also beginning to become very lazy, inattentive, and unwilling to listen to students. The school's environment as a whole is quickly going down hill, and not much seems to be being done to stop that decline.

All 3 of my children attended Parkview. It is not a perfect school. But it is a very very good school. People still move to this area to have their children attend this school. The leadership of this school has been wonderful since it was founded.
