The food is excellent, and they make a point of trying to source locally - they even have annual farm dinners where you can meet the people who supply the food. The atmosphere is nice enough for an adult dinner, but you can take (well-behaved) children and they won't bat an eye as they supply the crayons. Their kids' menu actually has a roasted chicken leg (as well as more typical standards).

The food is fantastic, but no matter what time you go there- the service is unbelievably slow. The food and drinks are worth the wait, just be prepared. Even if there is only one patron at the bar and three other tables in the dining room. The service will take as long as when it's completely packed.

Went looking for a restaurant we've never been to before and I'm beyond satisfied! The cod breading was fantastic, the cordon bleu sandwich was delicious, the service was excellent (Thank you, Haley!), and the prices were fair. I definitely look forward to coming here again to try some of their other options!

I'm a big fan of this restaurant. Rather than listing dishes by category they list by price, which makes dining on a budget much easier. Whether you get a pricier salmon fillet or a nice affordable stuffed pepper dish, the produce is well-prepared and the entire experience is delightfully earthy and delicious. I'm not amazed by all of their dishes, but several of them have been extremely well-coordinated in flavor and presentation, like the cedar - plank salmon and the whisky - caramel bread pudding. I believe their menu changes seasonally, so I plan to stop by again soon to try their spring selections.

We waited 90 minutes for a table. They kept saying "we're waiting for a table to clear so we can push it together with another one." When we finally got seated, it was a single table (nothing pushed together). What the heck? Food was fine, but nothing to write home about. The braised ribs had unexpected mushrooms. The mac and cheese did not have a strong cheese flavor. The Amish chicken was good, as was the sauce that came with it. The spice cake was light and tasty. The apple cobbler was too sweet.

Excellent and innovative dishes, friendly service and beautiful facility. Lots of comfort food here, and it feels like somebody cares. We've gone back here again and again.

The very definition of farm to table, the restaurant is ON the farm. Popular with elderly people the two times I've been here, definitely has a supper club vibe. We were the youngest people seated, by a decade, and we're mid-forties!

Booked a table on yelp, arrived in time to be seated, was made to wait for 30 minutes, table still wasn't ready, so we ate in the bar. Highly recommend coming for lunch, happy hour, or eat in the bar. The food and service are great, but very pricey and not worth waiting around for a seat.

Excellent farm-to-table fare with a usually-packed bar and dining room. Try the creamed corn - I know! I never would've thought it could be good, either. It will blow you away. Roasted beet salad was awesome, cedar plank salmon and filet, too. I'm making myself hungry!

Went with 5 other people. 3 of them had meals served just barely warm. One had the chicken dumpling soup and found one half of a wishbone in it.
Service was slow. Our wait person was fine.
We were given 4 free desserts as a "sorry about the problems."
The restaurant has an odor that's very noticeable when you first enter.
The fabric on the booth was less than clean.
Management should take a look at getting a good cleaning service in.

The food took over one hour to arrive even though there is only 2 people in our party. We arrived on a week day before noon and the place was not even packed. It was inexcusable that our food came after another group who had arrived more than 20 minutes after us. Our waiter also never checked up on us as to how we were doing. Poor training and staffing. The food was also hit or miss as well. My food was pretty good but my wife's food was too greasy and salty.

What a fantastic place to eat and wonderful atmosphere/ambience. I took my mother here for her to try something different and she absolutely loved it. The butter baked chicken & the roast beef w/carrots both were phenomenal along with the corn bread muffin included with that citrus butter - just amazing! We definitely will make our way back to PS23! BE sure to ask for Aaron, he was the best waiter.

Local eats and great atmosphere. Seasonal menu options so you never get bored with your choices. Wines are affordable and so is their sangria.
Always enjoyed our meals and been happy we came.
You'll probably want an appetizer with your meal

The services was very good. The food was average at best. It has a supper club like atmosphere. I will not eat there again.

The reason why I rated this 1 star is because I don't condone liars and misleading menus.
I ordered the roasted beets. I cook myself and I'm not bad at it. So, I know a bit about how different tastes/textures should be with food cooked certain ways. And I will tell you that the roasted beets weren't roasted at all. They were canned!
And honestly they didn't taste bad, but if you're going to claim the dish as being prepared a certain way, you better prepare it that way.
I also had the Salmon entrée which wasn't bad but the portions were very light. Six asparagus which were nothing special. And the hash potatoes I would easily pass on for fries.
I ate both of these dishes and I was still hungry. So, I spent 35 dollars on these dishes to basically do what most appetizers can do for you almost anywhere else.
They claim to be farm to table but that is B.S. as anyone with a brain knows that it would take a farm...not a greenhouse to accommodate a restaurant like that for a season.
It's just for show...and sucking up your 💰.
My suggestion is for everyone to learn how to cook for themselves because you can cook a meal even better, get full, and pay $5 per serving....I've calculated it myself.
But, if you don't have that option, try somewhere you know to be good.

We have to keep these places honest!!
    !!Don't rip us off!!

I went for lunch and the menu had an excellent variety. The service was wonderful. The coffee was fabulous. The food was very fresh and plated attractively. The apple cobbler and lime coconut sorbet was very delicious.

Great service at the bar. Cute and friendly girl bartenders are a gem at this place. I was recommended the pork tenderloin salad and it was good but it was later in the evening and it was a bit dry. Tried the shepherds pie and that was tasty. Good beer and wine selection too.

A nice place that is capitalizing on the farm-to-table movement. They've got their own farm and they list the origin of basically everything on the menu. They have a short tap list, but there are some really great, unique things on it. The wine list also seems very interesting and has a lot of local/organic things on it.

Excellent service, great food. If you are looking for a creative and tasty menu, this place is it. The menu is seasonal with a few standards that are always available. It is easy to order a healthier meal or an indulgent meal, your choice. Great dirty martinis!
