This place is closed so don't bother going.
The doughnut holes we hard, the glaze didn't have a melt in your mouth texture. The dough potion was ok but I expected better from a handmade place.
Apple fritter was good, cinnamon roll was okay, a little pricy $10 for 1/2 dozen.
Best cinnamon rolls at the lake.
Ok, so we have to compare apples to apples here. The big thing is the lady working here actually makes the donuts fresh each morning instead of unthawing frozen factory donuts on a rack like at Walmart. And yes they cost more than Walmart but so does anyplace that makes them fresh. They are not quite Krispy Kreme quality or Schultes IGA (Jeff City) quality, they are not quite as light and fluffy but they are very good. And wouldn't you rather have a fresh donut a local owner made than some frozen donut some zit covered kid threw on a rack at Walmart 2 days ago to unthaw then squirted his factory icing containing lord knows what on it.
