We have camped here 5 times in last 4 years. Campground is nice, nice area, good facilities.
We have usually really enjoyed our time here.

I have to say that our stay this week was more like a visit to an animal shelter. During the week we were here I don’t believe there has been less than 3 campsites with at least one “yip” dog. Most days there were multiple sites with multiple yippers and it was as though the owners did not know how to shut them up. Even as I write this there is a site with 2 or 3 dogs just barking their heads off.
Pets are fine but keep them under control. I don’t pay to camp just to listen to someone else’s dogs bark.

Clean, deep, beautiful lake, with lots of fun little hollows for exploring by kayak and tall cliffs next to deep water for cliff diving.

Love this Lake I do believe it's located back on a Mountaintop it is one of the prettiest and cleanest lakes in Eastern Kentucky.

The lake has a fantastic view and provides a variety of outdoor activities for everyone. I personally enjoy visiting the lake to clear my mind. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Close to home has great boating swimming and food .pinic areas are clean most have electric outlets .great walking trails. And the mountain home place is a great example of 1800s way of life
