My daughter got her hair done here and spent $240.00 and it is no where near the color she wanted and during her consultation she wasnt fully made aware that she would need multiple appointments to reach that color. When we went back in to have another consultation to resolve the issue, The owner didn't offer to do it for free, didn't offer any other service's for that matter either to at least make us feel like we hadn't just thrown our money away..But they did offer to make us another appointment for another process session to get her to the color she wants. But it will be almost $200.00 more.. I'm a single mother, work hard for my nothing paychecks but ok fine, anything to put a smile on my always depressed girl. Then we were told that it shouldn't be done for another month.. I mean really.. I got to walk out with tears falling down her face, she feels worse about herself now than she did before.. she totally didn't want yellow hair. (Although i think it's beautiful, that's not the point. It's how she thinks and feels that matter) that was a lot of money for nothing.. Isn't the whole point of going to a salon in the first place so that you walk out feeling beautiful? Soooo very upset and disappointed. EVERYTHING SHOULD BE MADE CLEAR UPFRONT.. Isn't that what a consultation is for??
I am usually too lazy to ever write reviews but I wanted to tell you about my experience at Oya. I walked in asking if someone was available for a haircut without having an appointment. I really liked the ambiance of the salon. Johnny Rodriguez had a little while before his next appointment and took care of me right away. He listened and offered suggestions. He taught me some new techniques to style my hair. He knew exactly what to do and I have never been happier with a haircut! I wish I lived closer so I could see him for haircuts every couple months but I live on the East coast. He is great!
Great place for. Hair cut or color. Upscale
I been going to Oya salon for the last year or so. I absolutely love this place, the people are always welcoming and friendly. They do an amazing job every time. They do not rush through appointments, and they always listen to what you want.
Bad cut. Bad color. $445 down the drain.
Andrea was my connection to Oya Inc., but she is no longer working for them. About one month ago, I decided to travel to San Jose to get a haircut since Andrea left Oya. The woman barber in San Jose did a terrible job. A few days later I made the decision to go back to Oya, but I do not like my current haircut. I hope to find ANDREA because she will be able to solve my hair problems. If you know her whereabouts, please let me know. Someone said something about her working for Vanity Salon & Blow Dry Bar I am sure.
I absolutely love the ambiance and service! I had Yongsun as my hair dresser and she was awesome! My hair has always been difficult to get the right tone because it's naturally black but she nailed it with the color. In the past, a trim never looked like a trim. More like chopped! She was very patient and understanding. My hair wasn't shorter by the time I left and she got all of my split ends. She pampered me enough to make my visit feel like a day at the spa. I highly recommend her to anyone!
