The Division of Music seeks to provide opportunities for students to gain professional competence in the art of music, integrating the highest standards of musical performance with a broad-based curriculum of scholarly studies within the framework of a strong Christian liberal arts tradition. The Division offers personalized attention in teaching and research with the goals of developing the talents and abilities of each individual student; discovering the ways in which music study leads to understanding oneself, humanity, and the world; and preparing the student for a variety of career objectives.
