About

The refuge manages 6,500 acres of wetland, grassland, and woods. A habitat for a diversity of waterfowl and other migratory birds, wildlife, and endangered/threatened species, it provides a place for people to enjoy wildlife and learn about the nature through education and interpretive programming.

    It is a man made wildlife refuge. A million dollar deer mansion and new roads and waterways, many changes to the natural area. Solar panels?

    Perch fry during spring migration biggest week of birding from 11am - 3pm. They also have hot dogs and bratwurst.
