  If you love fresh authentic Japanese do yourself a favor and seek out this little gem. Steps away from Times Square, Ootoya provides a pleasant respite. Try the sushi bowls, noodles or fresh tofu.

  Not the cheapest but to me it's good value for the quality of food! You can't go wrong with anything. I love the hijiki on rice. Kaisen-don and grilled fish sets are delicious!

  very crowded and need to wait for long time anytime but you can get a seat easily if you go earlier, just after opening.
