Buta Aspara and Chawan Mushi as was the sashimi - amazing!
If you love fresh authentic Japanese do yourself a favor and seek out this little gem. Steps away from Times Square, Ootoya provides a pleasant respite. Try the sushi bowls, noodles or fresh tofu.
Great, authentic Japanese food (not just sushi). wonderful tofu salad, delicious tonkatsu, amazing yakitori, it’s all good.
I’m sure you can’t go wrong here, but Kaisen Don is the order.
Come at either 11:30 or 2pm or be prepared to wait.
High quality food at a decent price. Love the egg custard and love the service here the most out of all the locations.
Their seasonal yuzu sake is a must try
Extremely overrated. I would skip this
Not the cheapest but to me it's good value for the quality of food! You can't go wrong with anything. I love the hijiki on rice. Kaisen-don and grilled fish sets are delicious!
yakitori ju n katsu ju r yummy~ fresh sushi n pretty good service~ one of the best japanese restaurant in the city ;)
👏👏👏 Delicious teishoku, price justified by huge portions. Egg custard comes with every set and takes my taste buds to heaven. 😍
Spot the kastuobushi shaving machine that spits out candy floss like bonito flakes!
Yakitori (dipped in egg yolk) here is the best! Food is very authentic and be sure to try the ice cream soju dessert!
Do not go here if you're vegetarian.
An incredibly unusual and wonderful Japanese restaurant
Japanese chain with a knack for home-style cooking. Menu includes ramen and sushi, but you're here for the teishoku.
They marinate the salmon for 3 days! Delicious and melts in your mouth.
店の奥のテーブルは長くて、15人前後のパーティーできて便利っす。全部おいしかったなー。
very crowded and need to wait for long time anytime but you can get a seat easily if you go earlier, just after opening.
