I was looking this great store up for my wife and realized I have never given them a review. I have been going to On The Spot Jewelry & Watch Repair for many years. They have always given me the best service and treated me very fairly on pricing. I would never go anywhere else. I trust them to do good work 100% of the time.
Went for a change of battery for $20; when I came back they charged me an additional $7 for cleaning the old battery residue. I would have paid it anyway, wish they would asked first.
I actually was looking for the other watch repair shop next to Dillards, apparently they moved off Hebron.
One of the pins on my watch band broke, so I came here to have one put in. They immediately got to work on it and were done within 5 mins. The price was better than other places that I've previously been to and I didn't have to wait around.
I went last week and had some links taken off my watch and bracelet. Service is excellent! They were so careful with my jewelry. I definitely recommend them!!
Owner charged $81 to have a diamond set, and a few weeks later, the diamond fell put of the mounting. Pictures displayed. The excuse the store owner, Omar, used was that the jeweler that sent me to his store he doesn't work with anymore. He said for reparing the botched job, he would charge me $200!!! I said I was willing to pay a reasonable amout. And he refused because he simply didnt want to reset the diamond. Unbelievably rude service. Advise people against going here.
Courteous, fast service!
Got my watch band fixes here and the price was very affordable and service was fast. I also have a lifetime watch battery card with them and it has already saved me some money on battery replacements.
I brought my TagHeuer and wife's Movado here for years to change batteries. They are quick and efficient and careful with these high-end watches. I had my son bring his unworn Movado to the shop to change the battery and they told him they saw corrosion inside. We had the repair done for a reasonable price and they returned it sooner than expected. I have enjoyed doing business with them and highly recommend them to anyone who has high-end or everyday watches. The staff are friendly and respectful and HONEST!
VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS BUSINESS
All the positives reviews on Google. So, I decided to come here to get my watch fix for the 1st time.
The owner/manager take a look at my watch. And give me 2 option
1) permanent fix for $100
2) temperary fix with GLUE for cheaper (he so sure, and claim the watch will last for another year or so, if I becareful)
I choose option 2.
Now, see. the PROBLEM IS! HE MAKE MATTER WORST!! THEN claim the watch couldn't be fixed temperary after he so sure saying it can BE. that's why I agreed for him to work on the watch!
I CAME because my watch's second, minute, and hour hand a liltle bit lose. And now, I LEAVE the shop with the same problem PLUS another (now it's not as lose BUT all the hands are GLUED to each other)
Here is the thing guys.. I Went to 3 different shops afterward, got the same response on the watch from all professional. My watch's original issue was COMMON and is an EASY PERMANENT FIX of ONLY $20-$35. BUT NOW WITH ALL THESE MESSY GLUE ON!? UN-FIX-ABLE! Good bye $500 watch.
Guy is really nice, you can tell he really cares about his customers. I bought my watch somewhere else and got it re-sized here at a very reasonable price. I came back a couple hours later and decided that the watch was a bit too loose (this was my bad, I should have checked more thoroughly before leaving). He was very nice about it and fixed it again with no extra charge! Highly recommend
