There for CEU conference very nice atmosphere...responsive to requests for less and /or more heat. Staff was professional and polite. One female member of staff even stopped to give me directions and offered to take me to where I has asked to go That's great customer service!
This is our second year at the Omni, and both visits were great. Check-in was efficient and the rooms are clean. Direct access to the convention center and the mall makes this the most convenient place to stay.
I will recommended. Location is really good, it has connecting bridge to the mall. Spacious room Room is clean, but a few stains on the shams. Nice pool for kids. It has Jacuzzi as well. The gym is big and quite complete, however some equipments are outdated. No complementary water bottle.
The cleanliness is 5 star but I'm not pleased with the service. We ordered a cheese plate for our arrival and didn't get it. Instead there was a tiny bit of cake saying 'Happy Birthday'. Called and they said they'd have the plate for us the next day between 4:30 and 5. It's still not here. Also, when I called guest services, the phone kept cutting out. The vent in the bathroom didn't work. For what we paid, all this adds up and sucks.
Very convenient place to stay for professional events at the convention center. Takes minutes to get to the venue from your hotel room. Room was large and comfortable and had everything I needed. Some things in the room needed some repair however hence 4* otherwise great experience!
The bathroom was not cleaned properly there were bobby pins on the bathroom floor. The toilet did not flush. I tried to get late checkout and they told me it was not an option. There was trash on the floor in the lobby when I arrived and was still there when I left. Also there were about 8 teenagers in the pool area the night we arrived and the next morning being rowdy, doing flips & splashing me and other guests who were trying to relax. I called front desk to make a complaint and NOTHING was done. Although the location of the hotel is great the service and cleanliness was poor. I would not recommend this hotel.
Expensive stay for about 180/night. You would think you've be getting excellent service, but not the case. The bathtub was dirty, cleaning lady misplaced my 20$ razor. When I talked to the front desk about it, they dismissed it and did nothing about it. Housekeeping would start knocking from the end of the hall very loudly at 7:45-8am every morning. So by the time they arrived to your door (with a sign) you were already full awake. Self parking outrageously expensive, as well as valet. We started there for a week for a conference, they weren't flexible whatsoever. It's unfortunate because we booked here because we had good experience with Omni resorts outside of the US. Very disappointed.
Bed and pillows very comfortable. But there is not one vending machine in the entire Hotel. So if you want a snack or something to drink you better bring it with you. I find that ridiculous so they can make you drink that $6 bottle of water they offer. Also there was only one person at the front desk I stood in line over an hour to check in. They were very nice for the girl at the desk did not know what she was doing she should have had help. Also you have to pay for parking. $30 valet
Very regal hotel. The rooms were very nice, customer service was very good. The pool looked like fun, though I didn't use it. The exercise room is huge, but usually somewhat busy unfortunately. It was incredibly convenient to be connected via walkway to the convention center and to the mall. The restaurant inside was very nice but very fancy (I didn't realize and showed up in lounge clothes).
very classy. beautiful interior and overall structure. the staff is great. and its conveniently next to the mall to go and do a little shopping! also two movie theaters in case you'd like to go watch the new releases. pleased with my experience :)
Stayed one night for a convention. Rooms were very nice and clean. Room service provided free milk and cookies which was nice. It was very busy because of the convention though so be prepared to wait for the elevators (I was on the 15th floor so walking was not preferable). The room was a little warm and I couldn't figure out how to get the ac to turn on but that's my fault. If there wasn't a convention or event going on, this would be a very nice hotel to stay at because you wouldn't have to deal with any of the crowds I did.
My husband and I had an amazing trip to Providence to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary.Omni staff made it extremely special for us. Our room had a great view, was clean and had a few surprises waiting for us. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We plan to return again soon. Thank you Omni staff for treating us like royalty, we always have a great experience when we visit. Also for those interested, hotel is in a great location, directly attached to the mall and convention center. We have frequented on many occasions and it's so convenient.
It's a lot of small things that I liked about this place. First of all the location: if you're visiting Providence I cannot think of any better place. The whole downtown area is walkable from there. For going to Providence Place Mall there's a Bridge that connects it to the mall. So you don't have to bundle up for going to the Mall. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The views were beautiful. I also like that they had K-Cups for coffee and slightly larger and flat bottles for shampoos and conditioner. It's a pet peeve but I had to squeeze the conditioner out of small rounded bottles that are a standard fare in most places. Overall I had a good stay. The allowed us to check in early without a grimace. They gave us a good room with good views. There was some confusion over the Internet charges. We were told that it will be free but at the time of check out they said it wasn't. But they forgo the charges. I have seen their New Hampshire Resorts before they are beautiful.
The hotel was clean but didn't feel like a four star hotel. The biggest issue is the thermostat didn't go lower than 68 degrees so I felt like I was burning from the inside out the entire time. They brought a fan but that didn't really help. I feel like when you give a guest a room where windows don't open you should allow them to control the temperature.
The cafe on the second floor and access to the mall was nice. It was in a convenient location which was nice.
