I enjoy you can get on and off, there are numerous stops making it convenient, and each driver has a unique tour so it is not the same scripted tour on repeat. It is very easy to miss the trolley as they are quick about the route and do not stay at stops but for a second. It is quite pricey. My grandma was in town and her and I used the trolley tour to explore downtown. Wish I got some kind of discount as a local though. Overall pleasant experience.

Wonderful experience. Friendly drivers with abundant knowledge of Savannah, GA. You can hop on and hop off their trolley tours during the day at 15 different locations. I found it nice to ride for a while and then get off and explore an area by foot. The trolleys will pick you up every 20 minutes.
During the winter the last tour is at 5pm.
For anyone with a Georgia drivers license they have a program where you can ride for free as long as you have a full paying guest with you.
They also do ghost tours at night. Check their web site for details.

Some nice people, who ever sets up the mapping stops needs to redo them. Good for the money! Depending on the driver they will give you a very nice (90) ninety minutes tour, Stay on for the whole tour first and you can then get off/on at whenever stop you like.

Was skeptical about doing a tour to start with, because my boyfriend and I felt like it may be a waste of money when we could simply walk to the stops and Google everything. Boy were we wrong! It was nice getting a break from walking and Brenda made the tour one of a kind! She had a southern twang that was enjoyable to listen to (we could have listened to her talk all day), and she was able to give her honest opinions about certain places in Savannah! She was super knowledgeable as well, when it came to the history. Would highly recommend a trolly tour- AND hope you get BRENDA as your driver!

We used Old Town Trolley Tours as the transportation for our guests during our wedding. Our contact for the company was Craig and he was beyond helpful! He answered my countless questions and made sure the route was perfect for my wedding! The driver was friendly and made the guests very comfortable. I highly recommend Old Town Trolley Tours for an event or for a fun education filled tour of Savannah!

This is absolutely the best way to see the city. All the Conductors are knowledgeable about the city and are very entertaining. The best feature is you can get off and on all day and see the sights you want. Will do again.

I took this trolley tour with my wife while on vacation. The trolley tour was a great experience and we really enjoyed our drivers' stories surrounding the history of Savannah. However, when I got home I realized that they had double swiped my card; according to the ticketing lady the first swipe did not take. But two charges posted to my card for $66 (the tour was only supposed to be $33/person so I should have only been charged $66 once). I tried to email as well as call their customer service with no returned email or call. Their customer service is literally non-existent. I'm now going through my credit card company to dispute one of the charges.

If you are visiting Savannah for the first time, one of your first stops should be to take the Trolley Tour! Great introduction to the city with well informed guides who have a great sense of humor and history. The tours are hop on hop off and so you can explore an area and hop right back on to the next trolley. Trolleys run every 15-20 minutes and stop at designated stops. We found all the guides consistently good. The tickets are valid for the whole day! Last trolley is at 5pm.

This review belongs under South Savannah KOA Campground. The trolley was a great way to see Savannah. Guides were very enthusiastic. You can't see Savannah on foot and moving a car around would be impossible with finding parking. This is probably the best campground we've ever stayed in! The people are wonderful, the Campground is very nice it has a lake for fishing and a large pool. When we booked a tour in Savannah we were picked up at the campground and while we were gone one of the campground employees offered to take our dogs out during the day. This service is above and beyond!

I will say the city trolley tour was fantastic! It helped us to navigate the city & landmarks. However we did the ghost tour with this company. Halfway through the tour our trolley driver hit a truck mirror causing us to miss the rest of the tour. I will say he was very apologetic & our tour guide Violet was amazing she kept it together & continued to tell us amazing stories. The part that we disliked the most was the manager of the company. He was VERY rude, not apologetic & not helpful at all. We were not angry at all just went with the flow. But he is who truly ruined the experience. I will never tour with this company again because of him.

Bought tickets online before arriving first time in Savannah, so was a little nervous. Easy-peasy, got an email, found the stops with bright signs, and flashed the tix from my phone. We rode around 3 times altogether. First driver, Tod, was loud & didn't pause for us to chat to each other about whether we wanted to hop off, but he was knowledgeable and very succinct, called for more buses when he saw the stops were getting crowded. We got to the tour starting point and had to switch buses, and MAN! was Lillie Belle the best driver EVER! She exuded her love of her town and it's history, answered questions, gave interesting facts, was VERY careful maneuvering some scary tourist behavior, she radioed into central for additional info, she was wonderful. Had a beautiful overview of the city, its layout and where we wanted to visit when we arrived back at the depot. Got onto the bus with John as I received an emergency call from my husband which ended after a minute or two of instruction/correction and before everyone had finished boarding, but John couldn't have been nastier making an announcement to the whole bus about turning off phones because people paid to hear him, not me. Then he made caustic and sarcastic remarks about the Savannah College of Art & Design, how the students can't read stop signs, made some political remarks as the tour continued. Couldn't get off the bus fast enough to get away from the bitter, old man who gave us erroneous directions to our destination. Yikes. A very worthwhile investment of time and money to "See Savannah" but obviously effected by your driver and his/her attitude.

We started our ride at river street, and it was very good! The attendant we bought the tickets from, an amazing lady named Woo, bumped us to the front of the line to get on. Our first guide, Toya was very informative and new her stuff! However, at stop number 1 you have to transfer to a new trolley, and we started our adventure with Honey. She was smart, subtle, and pointed out the squares, famous buildings, and the history of savannah. The only bad thing I have to say is that the seats are uncomfortable and sometimes it is hard to hear the guide when they are narrating, even if they are speaking loudly.

Very informative driver/guides. I would recommend taking the tour the entire loop and then deciding where to visit. The downtown area is relatively small and it does not take very long to walk from one point to the next. There is a handy app that tells when the next trolley arrives and where to find the stops.

Explored the city ourselves. That was better than paying them. People at the visitor center were very helpful for that sake. Took the ghost tours with these people. Sucked like hell. I literally slept through many parts. Boring n cliche stories, boring visits to useless places which they claim to be haunted, more cliche stories about how it's haunted. It was just a waste of money. A total rip off.
