Good service, good beer. Interesting food choices. Lots of events during the week as well as bands that play. Definitely a place to give a chance at least once!

EXCELLENT Music Venue For Our Local Musicians! Blues Jam Every Sunday Lead By Some Of The Finest Players You Will Ever Hear! Live Music On Friday & Saturday. Food Is AWESOME! Pasties, Seafood, The Beer Boiled Shrimp Is The Best I've Ever Had! Staff Is Great!

The place has a great atmosphere and nice music. Unfortunately, that's where it ends.
My husband and I recently came in for Sunday brunch and left very disappointed. The side of sausage tasted like a piece of 70's shag carpet had been put through a deep fryer. I also ordered biscuits and gravy which was bland to say the least. The biscuits appeared to be frozen and baked about three days ago. There's nothing wrong with them being frozen, just make sure they are baked fresh. I did not eat about three quarters of my meal because it was so disappointing. My husband ordered the crab cake Benedict and only ate them because he was starving. They were mostly filler and just gross.
I feel like I was robbed out of a perfectly good Sunday brunch, but at least the mimosas were good.response / report this review -

Amazing experience. New chef, attentive bartenders and hot patrons. Probably Kalamazoo's answer to the lack of a great place to hang out and embrace other members of the "family"

One of the best spots in town. Excellent food, you must try a Pastie or the latest Mac-N-Cheese creation!! Great drink specials through the week and don't forget about the live music!!! Almost any night through the week you can find Karaoke, Open Mic, or great bands both indoors and out in the tavern amphitheater.

Always great bands playing here. Probably the best Karaoke in town too. Food is really good and they have a good selection of beers on tap. Fair warning, if you go here past 8pm there is more than likely going to be a cover charge.

Great food. Fun music. Industry night on Thursdays. Love the simple bar snack. Rutabaga mash is one of our favorites. Daily macncheese specials. Huge outdoor area with music in the summer.

What a joke. After 4 beers between 4 of us they decided we were having to much fun and laughing so they cut us off. NO TIP PLACE.

Has a great atmosphere.. Very much a trendy dive bar with a college town flair.. But the food is just not good. I tried to order the pretzels and pub cheese and I was told they were out of soft pretzels (what?) and offered bagged snack pretzels instead. Pizza was dry and flavorless and I have had better pizzas from the grocer's freezer. And lastly, they DONT SERVE MOZZARELLA STICKS. Sorry guys, maybe you're trying to be trendy but this is a bar food staple and you just cannot rebel against it. Service was good and bartenders and waitstaff friendly, if a bit overworked with a mid-size crowd.

My favorite bar in town (right along with Bell's). They've got great beer, a ping pong table, and are always hosting unique bands. Every time my buddies and I are in town, this bar is first or second on our list.
I'm in my mid 20's, the usual is mostly older than I am but the place still turns up. It interesting decor on the walls & ceilings, they also open their courtyard when the weather is nice. I'll be there next weekend!response / report this review -

Go here for the brunch or the live music, especially outdoors. The parking here sucks. Potholed gravel and not enough space. Food other than brunch is only okay. Ambiance is old and eclectic and sort of pub-like. Service wasn't rude but wasn't exceptional either. We tend to go here in the summer for beers and music.
