A nice park with a good baseball field, a basketball court, and a well-equiped playground. It has a good amount of open space, and a small open-air stage with bench seating. There are also half a dozen picnic tables.
The only drawback is that it is tucked away off a side street and has only one, narrow entryway.

O'Dell is the biggest park in Franklin, it is a very well kept park surrounded by the Winnipesaukee river and has a very pleasant, peaceful atmosphere with plenty to do for all ages. Families can often be found here having picnics, family get-togethers and birthday parties.

You enter through a stone arch bearing the name and can drive to most of the park facilities. It features a large variety of children's playground equipment, three ball fields, tennis and basketball courts along with cookout facilities such as barbecue grill and picnic tables. There is a walking path and multiple exercise stations along with large grassy fields to simply run around in.
