  My husband and I were so impressed with Dan at Oakland Cemetery. We had previously purchased niches in the upstairs mausoleum, and when we saw the renovated mausoleum downstairs with the glass cubicles, we called to inquire if we could switch out and purchase the one downstairs. He checked with the Board promptly and called us that we could do this. He explained all about the glass niches--sizes, price differences, additional options for items we could place in them, etc. He also told us to call or email him at any time with additional questions and/or concerns. My husband and I were very pleased when we left there. I recommend Dan and Oakland Cemetery without exception.

  The cemetery staff was extremely helpful and friendly and was readily available to provide us with an overview of available plots and a guided tour of the areas we were most interested in. We were able to make a selection and finalize our purchase in a timely and professional manner. We would highly recommend this location.

  This cemetery is an older but very well kept cemetery. I have family and friends buried here. While it being located in town it still has a very peaceful atmosphere. The grass is always mowed and well kept. There are new mausoleum options and vase niche spots too. They also have a very nice chapel for services. Some parts of this cemetery have raised stones and other parts are flat head markers. I believe the raised section is the older section. They actively do amazing upkeep and there is staff most days of the week.
