  I've been a "regular" at Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital since 1979! In addition to taking excellent medical care of all the "furry children" I've had at home, the entire staff at OVH always made my dogs feel as if they couldn't wait to get into the facility....that someone there just had a great need to pet them! A great place.....I always feel that my pet will be well cared for when I can't take him with me. A hearty thanks to everyone at Oakhurst Veterinary.

  I have used Oakhurst in the past and have always been happy. However, recently I've been bringing my 2 dogs here and 1 has had reoccurring issues regularly. The other has had a major issue requiring major surgery (requiring a specialist). I have to say that the many years we've been coming here everyone has always been extremely courteous and caring. We've primarily seen Dr. Leanza and Dr. Thomasey as of lately and they have both been outstanding. I can't say enough for their "bedside manner" as well as their knowledge. They've gonna above and beyond to help my dogs. Everyone I've encountered here, from the front desk, pharmacy, techs and vets have always been so polite and helpful. The staff here is top notch.

  We have been going to Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital for years seeing Dr. Schock primarily. The entire staff, services, and care has been nothing but wonderful throughout our experiences. Having to recently make the decision to put our older lab down was very difficult but the experience and Dr. Schock’s presence made the process reassuring and very comforting. I can’t say enough about this facility and how thankful we are to have them care for our pets!

  Took my Ruby to her first exam at Oakhurst this morning. They were wonderful! Treated my girl like their own and made us feel welcome. Ruby didn't even mind getting a shot but I think that's because they distracted her with treats and cheese!
  Every single person we encountered was friendly and professional. I am really happy I chose them to take care of my new bff.

  I have been going to Oakhurst for decades with all my family dogs, and I cannot say enough good things about OVH. From the early days when the building was small, to now with a state of the art building and a large team of well trained, and caring staff. There is no better hospital in the area to go. From the second you walk in the door, you are treated like family.

  All of the doctors are very knowledgeable and helpful, they are proactive and take excellent care of my pets, they are also very accommodating. The technician staff is great with my pets, and the office staff is extremely nice, polite, knowledgeable and helpful. This is an excellent animal care hospital.

  Wonderful facility! From the front office to the doctors, you and your pet are treated like family. I have been with the practice for about 20 years and we have been through the 'life cycle' with quite a few pets. I can't think of any place that would have treated my family (furry and human) as special. I highly recommend them.

  I have been using Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital for many years. The doctors are very knowledgable and caring, and the staff is helpful and awesome. I have a very "special" pooch and they are all very understanding. I also feel very comfortable having my dog stay there while I'm away.

  Rosie got a case of the pestering fleas that I could not get rid of through baths, treatments, brushing, and so on. I was expecting the vet to say I had to bring her in (Ro hasn't been to the vet in quite awhile), but instead ordered us a Capstar pill that should begin working after 30 minutes as well as 3 flea treatments...all for $50. Very quick response, picked up meds 20 minutes after I called.

  Brought my cat in 3 weeks ago due to her being lethargic and stumbling around. Went in for blood work with a copy of her previous blood work from 6 months prior. All they wanted to do, was for me to pay for more tests. Brought her here since it was closer than my normal vet and the reviews were really good. The day after I received the blood work results from here, my normal vet was able to tell me what was wrong with her. I will never bring another pet here ever again. I unfortunately lost my cat due to kidney failure which my original vet was able to tell just from the blood work results. Find a vet that cares more about the pet's health, than running a myriad a tests for the money.

  This was the first vet that we took our dog to and had read all the goods review, so decided to take her here. We originally took her because she wouldn't walk and was very lethargic. They address the issue of her being lethargic because of limes disease. Over the series of months and years we took our pet to Oakhurst for her limp when she walked and more recently her seizures; our last visit was horrific. They didn't address any of the issue and the vet at the time didn't even look at her record and asked me where I usually take her. After that experience we decided to try out another vet. In that process Oakhurst was very rude and made it very difficult for us to receive her paper work. All I can say is I'm thankful they did such a horrible job because they new vet addressed all the issues we were having over the years with our dog.

  I appreciate everything about this practice, from the ease of making an appointment, to the pleasant front desk staff, and was very happy with Dr..Shock (even though I was concerned about seeing someone other than Dr. Campbell) & the technician, Stacy. Every moment in the office feels pleasant and comfortable, and they don't push extras on people, which is wonderful. I highly recommend this practice. Thank you for the great care you took of our pet, and the compassion you showed while doing so.

  Dr. Thomasey is a fantastic doc. He is friendly and kind and explains things thoroughly and clearly. Most important of all Taz likes him a great deal. Keep up the great work! :)

  I have had good and bad veterinarians in the past but Oakhurst Animal Hospital is by far the best care and service I have received. They have a professional and caring staff that surpasses any I have had in the past. Add to it that they deal directly with my dog, Brandy's, health insurance which removes stress during times of need like when she broke her leg and it takes Oakhurst to a whole new level of animal care. The personal attention I feel I get and that I am sure all that go there get as well is fantastic. I will be a loyal patron for all current and future animal care needs to be sure. Thank you to the entire staff at Oakhurst Animal Hospital!

  'It all starts at the top!!!'
  
  Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital is an outstanding example of that statement. Their employees from the front desk to their technicians, who we occasionally see, are warm and willing to assist you in any way possible.
  
  Our relationship has been with Dr. Chris Campbell. He is an outstanding Veterinarian...and an even nicer human being!! Caring, thoughtful, patient, excellent diagnostic skills, and a quick sense of humor when the occasion calls for it describes him perfectly.
  
  You will not be disappointed with any areas of the Hospital. Their actual hospital and 'hotel vacation stay' facility deserve a 5 Star rating!! You can even visit your hospitalized 'special family member' in a private area if they are feeling well enough to see you.
  
  We are so fortunate to have such highly educated and experienced Doctors, a top rated Veterinary Hospital and an exemplary Staff, in our immediate area, for regular use and especially for emergencies.

  The staff at Oakhurst is the best...the ladies at the reception desk, include Barb Murray are all wonderful, the techs are great, the doctors are great; Dr. Campbell in-particular referred Gracie to Garden State because her issues were beyond your capabilities...I'm forever grateful that he steered us in the right direction and didn't just send us home with instructions for her to rest.
