Excellent value for a clean, spacious room in a small hotel that is one block from an entrance to the river walk. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to my requests. The cable and internet service did go out for a brief time Tuesday night, but that was the only minor problem to an otherwise excellent stay.

Once again we had an amazing time at our stay , the staff and management are the best. As hard it is during fiesta they work their magic to the best job to make our stay the best it can be. Dalisha thanks for all you do, you go above and beyond. We look forward to next time.

Again an awesome place to stay. And thanks again!

This was perfect for me , I loved the cozy room and loved the bathroom , breakfast was more than I needed and staff was very helpful and friendly , if your looking for somewhere to stay on the river walk this is the place , access is right there so we went to river walk several times , I really enjoyed myself , wish the balcony was a little more private and second floor balcony have no lights only 1st and 3rd but these things didn't tarnish my good time at all .. highly recommend if your taking a romantic getaway

This little gem in San Antonio is the best I've stayed in so far. The staff is very attentive and friendly. They really go above and beyond to accommodate your needs and make you feel at home. Walking distance to the river is really a no brainier to make your stay here.

FRANK LUJAN & I are returning Customers at the O'Brien Hotel for 15yrs. We are Very pleased with the Service, the Staff, and the Manager Dalisha. She has gone beyond to do her Best, especially during Fiesta, heaviest time. We are thankful to have her on your Staff and happy that she treats our guest with kindness & respect.. We Love our returned neighbors David Sotello (Friends & Family), and Ruben/Ida Gamboa that reserve the other rooms.

    Once Again, Happy Fiesta!

Great little hotel for a getaway. Romantic balcony, great room and customer service was over the top. Room rates were comparable for the area. So close to everything. Walking or taxi. Watching the sun come up with the tower in view was sweet. Definitely a revisit is on the horizon!!!

We loved it!! Definitely a class act with so much charm. The continental breakfast was extraordinary providing potatoes, eggs, bacon and numerous other items that other hotels do not offer. We will stay there again. And we had awesome access to the River Walk!!

I don't know what hotel the bad reviewer was at . . This is very nice and clean as well. Just checked in and will finish reviewing upon check out. This is finishing my review. We overslept this am because the bed was so comfortable and it was so quiet. The breakfast was very good. Conversation with Delissa interesting and informative. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Great small hotel a block from the river walk and about a block or less from la villita. Our room was clean and well-appointed, great hot breakfast included. We had a couple of issues come up that required extra TLC and Keisha took great care of us. Will definitely stay here again!

Really enjoyed this little gem of a hotel! Off the busy part of the Riverwalk, but yet a block away with easy walking access to any of the places we wanted to go, and great little balcony for my morning coffee! 😊

It was very clean, with very nice staff. Our room was clean and the beds were comfy. Nice breakfast in the morning. The parking area is small, but as long as there is not a Spurs game you should be fine. We had to park in the paid parking across the street one night, but it was taken off of our nightly cost. Overall it was a lovely hotel within walking distance of the River Walk and The Alamo.

Staff was super friendly, rooms clean and quaint! Perfect location. Only problrm, parking very limited amd still charged to park, but it was only 10. Stayed at emily morgan and had to pay 30 and we were also guests! Lol.

    Overall, very nice experience.

The female manager that dresses like a hobo was ridiculously rude to me, rooms are tiny, and they had 2 police officers harassing guest as we arrived drunk from fiesta. Spent over 500 on 3 nights and they treated us like we were criminals! Not to mention we booked in January & they still managed to ruin our balcony room.

I will never stay at this hotel nor will I recommend to anyone. I showed up and the hotel and they had cancelled my reservation as a no show. I had called the hotel directly ten days earlier and changed my check in date. The person at the desk refused to honor the rate I had originally booked at which was half the price and she deliberately gave away the last room to someone in the phone right in front of me. The manager would not take any responsibility for the error and basically told me it was not her problem. On top of that they have charged my credit card for two nights as a no show and refused to refund me even though it was their error for not appropriately making the change as confirmed via phone. Terrible customer service in attempting to claim responsibility for error or making any attempt whatsoever to correct the situation leaving me and my family scrambling for a place to stay in he midst of a busy weekend Saturday night. Don't risk it. Stay somewhere else.

This hotel is just about a block from the Riverwalk without the $200/night price tag. The staff were very friendly & helpful with directions, suggestions, etc. We were there on a very quiet weekend, so I can't say what the atmosphere is like during a major event. I will definitely stay there again.

We loved this Hotel; we were in town for a convention and it was walking distance from everything. We loved the quaintness just wish staff knew more about the history of the building
