Exceeded my expectations! The campground were well kept and the hiking trails were exciting. My kiddos absolutely loved the animals at the wildlife center and the historic barn is absolutely wonderful. So much history, and all of it presented in such a wonderful way. The farm homestead replica was fascinating and gave such a unique opportunity to discuss with our teens how very different everyday life was back in the day! We're looking forward to planning another weekend here.

Very nice park. DNR will stop you if they arent stopping someone else at that given moment though for reasons unknown. They are nice but, just a nuisance.

Trail ride here all the time. They have lots of trails. Some are a bit too muddy and need to be kept up more. But we do love trailing here.

Tough, rocky, technical trails with some awesome flowy fast stuff in between. It'll challenge every rider, whether it be with technicality, climbing, descending or speed.

Lots of trail miles for hikers and horses too make it feel friendly as all the trails inevitably cross at major intersections.

Camping in the beginning of the week. Very few others there so it was quiet and relatively private. The camp host was very helpful and friendly.

Nice park. Good hiking and touring historical sites, nice park. Would have given a five but no running water to camper and sites are steep and packed close together

Nice shady campground. Electric hookup only. Busy on weekends, but nice and quiet during the week. Beautiful pool and splash area. Great trails. Hike, bike, and horse. Picnic areas, fishing lake.
Ranger Bob and his staff do a great job!

Great place, I walked the creek bed by the primitive horse camp and it was beautiful. I saw multiple natural springs and awesome rock formations.
