Girlfriend and I took a walk here a few days ago. The campground is closed but the grounds are right next to a walking path so we pretty much got to explore the entire campground by ourselves. I can't review it based on camping experience, but the grounds seemed nice. The Provo River runs right next to the campground.
It does seem like this campground is geared more towards people with trailers/RVs. The few spots that we stopped at were pretty uneven or didn't have good ground to set a tent up on.
This place is freaking awesome. Most all of the sites are shaded there well laid out there's a big grassy areas there's a stream right next to it. Yeah it's a little pricey but that's no big deal. We were here in the fall and almost no one was here during the middle of the week. This place is great
Love the camping area. Great playground and picnic area. right by the Provo River. Short walk to a beautiful waterfall. Great place for families and their pets. There is a bike/skateboard/running trail that goes through the park too.
This is an excellent place to have a family camp out. It is kind of noise because of the highway. But it was a blast! It's so close to Provo.
This was a great place for me to take my littles (4 and 2). We enjoyed a nice picnic and then went to Bridal Veil Falls where the kids could splash in the falls. It was wonderful!
Great location just off the highway, walking distance to Bridalveil Falls and right next to the Provo River. Small sites very close together. We went late May with the spring runoff making the river dangerously high. A few of the sights where flooded. We arrived on a Friday night and it was only half full but quickly filled up with mostly scout troops. Hosts where nice and it was a pleasant stay. Highway noise was the only negative.
Nice paved walking and cycling paths. Great picnic areas. Beautiful scenery. Bridal Veil Waterfalls. Provo River. Family friendly.
Bridal falls close by make this a must see stop. Walk down the path past the falls about a couple hundred yards and there is a nice easy trail to get up near the top of the falls. No need to climb, just follow the winding trail.
So beautiful with the mountains and at certain points you can see a waterfall! This time of year is a bit dangerous with the water going faster than ever. If you have children please keep a eye on them! Overall great place
I absolutely love Nuns Park. We were only there for a short time but is was neatly kept and right by the Provo river and not far from the water falls. We were on bikes so it was nice to roam around the park on the easy accessible trails.
