Pentagon City's Nordstrom is a great stop for quality clothing in the DC area. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff abound, the store has a decently good layout, and the cafe is surprisingly good. Maintains the Nordstrom brand's reputation for excellence.
I often came to this location to eat in the cafe for our (45) minutes of lunch. My spouse normally ate the tomato basil soup while I ate everything else.
Its a nice mall but completely ridiculous for them to charge for parking. Not sure Inunderstand the point of this.
Service always excellent. Great food in the Cafe. I didn't rate 5 star due to the fact there is no longer a petite Dept.
I'm torn about this review.... Had an appointment with a beauty advisor, Tia, at 5pm yesterday to get my makeup done for an event. Arrived a little early to browse makeup. The woman at the Shiseido counter treated me to a lovely "mini facial." Other employees pointed out my beauty advisor's chair so I sat and waited. And waited.... Finally around 5:20 an employee texted her and found out she was taking a test for a fragrance certification. So much for my appointment? The other employee was quite apologetic and set me up with Nicole at Tom Ford who did a great job! I was very happy with the outcome but felt bad that I couldn't purchase more at her counter due to the cost. I went with the beauty advisor appt knowing that I needed to stock up on some basics from a few different brands. Overall, 1 star for the beauty advisor fail, 5 stars for Nicole and the employee who set me up with her!
I'm constantly dissapointed by this store. The employees are not at all attentive, no matter how fully staffed and empty the store. It took me 30 minutes to get help buying a pair of shoes a couple weeks ago. Save yourself the trouble and go to the Nordstrom Rack across the street instead- same service and cheaper prices.
Bright and clean. However, the shoe shine guy was a little too touchy, if you get my drift..... Watch out for him.....
Good mall with nice food court & good stores. No movie theater though, which is the only downside to this mall.
Definitely offers high end clothing. Enjoy shopping, can find good buys if you look. Offers validation for parking.
The men's store is fabulous but this review is for the espresso bar. They have great chicken caesar salads but never have caesar dressing. I mean never -- every time I go there they have some lame excuse why they don't have it. It such an easy fix I don't know how they can't get it together.
Great place to buy cloth when you have the budget for;) Nordstrom outlet is right across
Generally good selection over a wide range of prices. Excellent services.
This is for the cafe only. This is a great place to meet up with your friends. Convenient to DC/VA and even MD, a group of us get together regularly for catch up. Nice choice of seafood/chicken/salad/sandwiches, served to the table after ordering at counter. Server refills drinks and will validate your parking.
I went in to buy a Polo Double Black men's cologne. Turns out they barely carry any men's colognes. There was a single polo cologne sitting on the shelf. Anyway, I saw a new cologne was out by Versace Dylan Blue. I asked the lady if she could let me sample it to see how it would work with my skin and she said that she was out of sample vials and tells me to go to women's section on the first floor. I go there and this makeup sales lady asks if I needed anything and I tell her about the cologne vials and she hands me makeup vials. Either she was retarded or she was trying to be funny. Anyway, when I get to the female cologne section and asked for a vial, they made faces. Like WTH is wrong with this place. I will never make a purchase from Nordstrom again. Macy's cologne selection is much much better and though they don't give out samples, at least they are not disrespectful.
Sales associate made me confused for couple of months.
When i made a purchase in store, the sales associate asked me to apply for Nordstrom credit card. I had all the other store cards, so i didn't think i'd need one. But she convinced me to open and told me that i'd get 20$ note for every hundred dollar i spent. It was 360$ beauty product, then she said you'll get 60$ note, which is cash at Nordstrom. Then i said OK. She applied for me and when it got accepted, she became so happy.
I waited for couple of months to receive those notes. I just made a phone call to the customer service and realized why i received only one. I know that sales associates get commission or something every time they open credit cards for customers. But what i hate is that she misinformed me for all these months!!
