  Impeccable customer service! I hate shopping, but I actually loved my 2 hours here. Anna with an Eastern European accent was one of the most helpful employees I’ve ever come across! She was attentive and went out of her way to make sure I found what I needed! I couldn’t be happy with my shopping day here! Thank you Nordstrom’s Rack and Anna!

  I buy clothes here sometimes. This location likes to pretend they cant do a return. This is infuriating. I bought a pair of shorts here one time where all the dang buttons just kept falling off. I was told they couldnt take returns, I kind of shrugged that off because Ive heard that before. Then they would only give me a store credit because of the missing buttons which is why I was returning in the first place. I did not choose to fight over the store credit. These people are the worst, but the deals are good. I get even by making a massive mess when I go in. Yes it is petty but it is all I have.

  I love going to this place! Not only is the price vs quality outstanding, but it's ready to get in and out by going to one of their employees in a lime green shirt and asking them to check you out with your credit or debit card. More places need to be doing this It's too easy! I felt bad for the line at the front of the store wasting their time waiting.

  Absolutely horrendus service. Rude, and Unwilling to help customers. Management was even worse, so it’s clearly a culture issue at this location.

  I was a little hesitant to go to this location because of the reviews, but it was the nearest location so I took a chance. The customer service was great, and the store was very organized. By the time I left the store was very busy, but the staff was still very friendly. The dressing rooms were well maintained, and all of the inventory was well organized. Highly recommend the location.

  Many satisfied transactions at this store until last week when I returned 2 mens no-iron dress shirts from online purchase. We are embarking on a 3 week cruise and will wash the shirts onboard at least twice. Once we received the shirts, my husband was satisfied with the quality and fit and I machine washed and dried per instructions. Both shirts were wrinkled and would have been unwearable without ironing. Upon returning them to the store, the young lady helping me with the return said she had the same objection with another customer and made the return. When I described the washing method , a male clerk overheard and announced they could not process the return since I had washed them and quite begrudgingly offered a store credit. I complained and said they were not 'no iron' as publicized online and here was the evidence only available after washing! He said he had been with the company 17 years and I could only get a store credit at Nordstrom Rack but if I had bought them at Nordstrom then could have had a refund. Really?

  The GOOD: Decent stock in home/makeup/mens/lingerie sections, staff is helpful and professional, the shoe section at all NR stores is always impressive, prices are good.
  The BAD: Gateway store always seems like a hot mess. The entire women's section is crammed/overcrowded. I find multiple damaged clothing items on every visit, have stopped looking at clearance section altogether. Entire store feels a bit sad and neglected. Maybe it's newer but I prefer the Sunset Valley store.

  Their uppity assistant manager on duty threatened to physically remove me from the store because I was asking why they couldn't accept the return of eligible items. I called the customer service number from outside the store and they accepted the returns over the phone and even expedited my refund. The manager was just being a dick.

  You can browse around with no interruptions. They've got good deals, especially on handbags and shoes. Their shoe selection is good, especially if you've got lengthier feet; they carry up to size 13. As a size 11,I can always find cute, affordable, shoes there. My only issue is the line is usually a long wait.

  Waited in line in the so called express lane, for 20 minutes, or more,the two girls working it on Tuesday May 16th 2017. They were saying system was very slow, blond girl finish with her customer, went up front to get another customer to check her out as I had been standing in the AS SO CALL EXPRESS LANE!! After she finish with that customer she was getting ready to go back up to the front to get some else to check. Until the other girl told her to help me. Little blond girl claims, OH I DID NOT SEE HER. The express area is not that big. And I was the only one there waiting, and a few minutes later someone else came up behind me. REALLY YOU DID NOT SEE ME!! YEA RIGHT. STORE #736. PERSON CHECKED ME OUT KATLYN B. 12:22PM. 1036 REGISTER NUMBER. TRANSACTION # 4204.

  First time I shopped here the 16 year old behind the register forgot to take the security sensors off two items (bummer cuz my daughter wanted to take them on a trip the next day). Interesting that it didn't set off the alarm!
  
  Came back today to get tags temoved and purchase new items, braving the long line. A register opened up, the cashier looked at me and said "next" and as I took my first step, the manager (Jackie?) walked in front of me and brought another customer to the open register. I can understand if the customer was already in the middle of a transaction and now returning, but a quick apology from Jackie to me/us in line would have been considerate.
  
  If you have the patience then expect to find some good deals, but don't expect traditional Nordstrom service. Even the Nordstrom Rack in California has better service than this location.

  Great deals on nice clothes. Shop during the Clear the Rack for an even bigger discount on clearance items.

  Would rate it 4 stars if there wasn't always a ridiculously long line to check out Managers and crew walk by and clearly aren't phased. Inventory is hit or miss just like a TJ Maxx
