I prefer the Cherry Creek location I feel they haven more random things like returned online purchases where as belmar is more of their cheap brands and Neutrogena. Cherry Creek has the "only one in the store gotta have it items".
I enjoy browsing the shoe selection here as it's always changing, and there are always great deals. The last couple times I was here I was able to purchase my items at the express checkout at the back. This is much easier than the check out at the front of the store where there always seems to be a line. There is a lack of organization at the check out station, and the managers I've seen up front have always been rude.
Security guards are actually cool here. 🤘
I love Nordstrom Rack and always find a lot of great stuff. The issue is the Belmar location. I have never went there and had a good customer service experience. The employees happily talk to each other and don't acknowledge customers. If you do ask for help they act put out that you're interrupting. There are always long lines. However they do move quickly. This is good except I think it's because of the slightly rude robotic treatment that you get while the staff is ringing you up. Based on other Google reviews this is an ongoing issue. However I've been going there for a few years now and this doesn't get rectified.
This is my favorite nordstrom rack in Denver. It's always tidy and not as crowded as the other locations. The shoe section in particular is always tidy and easy to shop.
For a Saturday afternoon, the store was clean and most of the people running garments were friendly. The dressing room attendant was extremely robotic and the interaction was a little strange, but the problem arose at checkout. The line was incredibly long and two of the people operating the registers were there for show and the managers were doing the work.
When we went up to pay, my mother produced her nordstroms credit card and immediately the manager snatched it from her hand and said "this card is too old to use" and picked up the phone. The sales associate didn't say anything to us, just began ringing up the items. The sales associate finished and the manager was silent and facing away from us on the phone and nobody knew what to do. My mom asked if we could use the card and the manager said it was too old to use. My mom said she had just used it within the last six months and the manager said it wasn't possible the card was too old. Eventually my mother had to reach across the counter, take her card back and pay with her MasterCard because the manager wouldn't give her the card back and we were tired of standing there with the line glaring at us.
Overall very uncomfortable and strange customer service experience.
I had an awful experience here once and never went back. Bad selection, rude staff that acted like I was causing them issues by asking questions, everything was a complete mess, clothes everywhere. If you can get to the one on Colorado, it's much more worth the drive than wasting your time at this location.
Guess I have more sense then money. Merrell hiking shoes, on clearance 56.00 reg 90.00. Found the same shoes at another retailer reg price 68.00 on sale 43.00 .
Great selection of shoes and housewares. Always a clean and beautiful store. The wait sucks, but there's only so many registers.
Great deals, ever changing options! Checking out always takes longer than expected though.
Buy cautiously at this location. Much of the inventory here is damaged. I didn't notice a small rip in the material of a shirt I bought here until I got it home. When I went to return it, the manager quite smugly told me that they don't accept returns of damaged clothing even if it was damaged when I bought it. I love Nordstrom Rack, but this location would benefit from a managerial overhaul.
Love this location. Easy to get in and get out of! The staff is very nice too.
I've been in the store many times and liked the store until this time. It might be personal but it was a bad experience.
I bought a pair of high heels and wore them once, mostly inside. When I tried them in the store, they were fine and beautiful, but they hurt my toes so bad that I barely walked that day. I texted Nordstrom Facebook account and they said I could go back to store for a return or store credit. Also Internet has so many stories about exceptional Nordstrom customer service that you can return or store credit even if you wore shoes or clothes, but not satisfied. I didn't think I will have a return but thought about store credit.
I went to the store, and waited a while at the cashier for the manager coming. He simply said they don't accept the shoes since I wore them once, and pointed the back of the receipt for their return policy. When I said I talked to Nordstrom Facebook, he said they are not related. Oh well, I understand the return policy.
Furthermore when he talked to me, another two customers were just standing behind me because they've been waiting a while to pay, no privacy. Also his attitude made me feel like I planned to wear the shoes and try to return them, take the advantage. You would say it's an overreaction, but it was very disappointing.
By all means, I don't think he did wrong to refuse me by following the bible. Their Facebook account and Internet stories are misleading. I was expecting an reasonable understanding of my case, but it seems like just a wishful thinking without any solid approval.
Experienced, learned the lesson, suck it up and move on.
Great service. I only occasionally shop on their website but I was able to return stuff without any issues.
Have shopped here for a long time but today brought back an unused/not worn return in perfect condition but was beyond the 90 day return policy. The woman who helped me was nice enough but was unwilling/unable to make an exception. I understand the policy but I would have been happy with in store credit to use the money on items I will use/keep. I'd like the store to contact me to offer something to this effect. You will sell the shoes I'd like to return, there's nothing wrong with them so please fix this.
Good Nordstrom Rack location with a large selection. Conveniently located near a lot of other shops in Belmar, so even if you're looking for something specific, it's usually worth a look in here before you walk to another store. If they've got what you want it will generally be really good quality for a better price than anywhere else.
